I can't speak highly enough of this property! The home was spacious and comfortable, and the screened-in porch provides a wonderful setting for your morning coffee or mid-afternoon soak in the hot tub. It's a bit far from the mountains but is located in a very peaceful and quaint area. 10/10 recommend!

In all honesty, the pictures online really aren't indicative of what we found. Watching the sun peak over the Eastern Mountains was amazing. The River View below the hill was really nice. It is a very clean area. Very well kept and maintained. We loved the rolling hills, the cattle, and the thousands of Canadian Geese in the field to the South. I would highly recommend this property as one of convenience, location, cleanliness, and overall experience. Thanks.

Bring your own kitchen knives and cutting board and extra kitchen towels (we were given 1 for the week). The thresholds in the doorways were a tripping hazard and shower curtains were hanging too long and loose in the tub which was another hazard. The owner complained that we had too many cars which we did but only for about an hour and a quarter but that required a reprimand from the company plus we felt spied upon. We have never ever rented a vacation home that didn't have some leftovers in it - salt and pepper, oil, etc. This one was stripped bare. Otherwise our trip was pleasant enough.

This place was great we had fun eating and playing games in the screened in porch grandkids and me love the hot tub. It was nice to get away from the main area and be out in the country. The only thing that I would like would have been a DVD player for movie night. Very clean and updated house and the contact people were awesome.

My family had a great time staying at this location. Everything was exactly as it appeared. The only downside, which was really nothing but we stayed in one evening and didn’t bring a deck of cards or any games to entertain at home. We should have brought some ourselves but didn’t know honk about it. Otherwise, everything was perfect. Thank you and we will either be back or recommend this place to others.

My family and I choose to travel and spend Christmas in TN this year. We had a great time and we all loved this house. We were able to bring our own little Christmas tree and set up a few little decorations and made it feel like home. Bedrooms are nice and the beds slept well. Plenty of room in the living room for all of us to sit and enjoy time together. The back screened in patio was really nice and we enjoyed the hot tub. We look forward to going back and staying at this property again. Also made a few cow friends....lol

This home is so inviting and welcoming. Everything was so clean and perfect. We enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas. We walked down to the end of the road several times a day to look at the river where the fish were jumping and the geese were swimming. On the way back we enjoyed watching the cows in the field. The huge screened porch was amazing and we enjoyed the hot tub. Everything in this home has been updated. We cooked several meals and enjoyed playing cards around the large dining table.

Our family of five (with three sons) recently took a five day trip to the Pigeon Forge area as one last trip before school starts. The house was great for our family. It had a yard the boys could play catch in, 3 good size bedrooms to allow us to spread out, a great layout with the living room opposite of all the bedrooms plus an amazing back porch with hot tub. House was very clean and comfortable-we would recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in the area.

The house is very nice and relaxing, kitchen was awesome. No water view which was disappointing you could walk to the water but it was advertised as water front. The view out the front was a pasture of cows. The back porch is what made this stay very relaxing. It is all screened in and designed beautifully. Loved loved loved the back patio. The beds were very comfortable and it did feel like a home away from home. Gave it 4 stars just because it not being on the water. Very clean and would stay there again.

Our family of 5 absolutely enjoyed every minute of our stay. It felt like home to us. Secluded but yet close enough to everything we planned for. The kids enjoyed their own bed with their own color for their gender along with the hot tub. The grill was perfect! This is definitely our go to mountain home from now on! Thanks to Jim and Claudia for allowing us to enjoy your home for our stay. The lady at the end of the road at the river even offered us her deck to fish off of which was oh so nice! What a lovely stay! Dont be fooled by the profile picture of the river, its NOT at your back door of that's what you are hoping for. You have to take a little ride down to the end of the road and stomp thru weeds down a hill but its an awesome view. The Long Family. 7/18-7/22 Reviewer location North Carolina
