Great stay!
5/5 Property is exactly as advertised, very clean, well stocked, great location. Short boardwalk to the beach.
The beach allows car traffic and overnight camping (RV’s), so can be busy during holiday periods.

Great House! Great Value!
5/5 This house is best of the best when it comes to beaches near Houston. Easy in and out, killer views of both the Gulf and the back bays, and very comfortable sleeping arrangements. This house can easily sleep 16+

Great house!
5/5 We loved this house! The first thing we noticed when we walked in is how good it smelled. It was very clean and very well laid out. The master is on the bottom floor with the living room and kitchen, and the other three bedrooms are upstairs with another living area. It worked perfectly for us and all the kids. The house is very well stocked, including coffee pods and laundry supplies. The only thing I would recommend bringing is extra blankets. The AC worked great. At one point the water pressure went down too low, but I called the owner and they reminded me that the filter might need to be changed as it gets clogged with sand. It was pretty easy to change. I highly recommend this house. The trek to the beach is a little further than I'm used to, but we purchased a wagon which made it easy to carry all of our stuff. It is also a drive on beach, so you could always drive your stuff down there.

2/5 Would not stay at house again! Party of 8 and could only take one shower at a time! No water pressure! Beds were super hard and not enough towels for 8 people! Had to use beach towels to shower! Not enough cups/glasses so had buy cups to use! Thermostats were programmed so would wake up to house being warm in the morning! Not like we needed ac set below 71! Location was good and ac did blow cold but difficult to use the thermostats! Great view of ocean and inter coastal!

5/5 The house was great. We really enjoyed our stay. We have stayed at the house next to this one for the last 3 years and always enjoyed it but this year it was booked the week we wanted to come. Glad we found Modern Surfside. The provisions inside the house gave indication that the owners and managers wanted to give their guest an atmosphere of hospitality. That is how we felt. The view was great as well. Thanks.
