What a great place
4/5 We spent 4 days in this great house near Beaufort. It's really worth a trip, as the nearby nature is really unique !
Clean and Gorgeous!
5/5 The Sunset Cottage is a must! Everything you could possibly need they have thought of. Very clean and adorable decor. My hubby and boys looooved fishing from the dock. I'd 100% recommend this place to anyone. If we are ever in the area again, we will stay here 100%.

Lovely cottage with a lovely view
5/5 The cottage is beautifully renovated and furnished, the marsh view is peaceful, and the dock access is great. The space was perfect for our group of four. Flat parking and entrance make it easy to unload and load.

GREAT SUNRISE
4/5 We rented sunset cottage 10/19/23.
PROS: A great place to watch the sunset and sunrise. It is quiet and 20 mins from beaufort. Cottage is clean and updated. The kitchen has all the amenities to cook. The furniture and beds are in good shape. There is a washer and dryer and they are modern and new. It does have access to a dock that is shared with the neighbor. The cottage is a great place to catch up on some reading and enjoy nature. Quiet and peaceful. If you want to fish or crab off the dock, then you will need to bring the fishing rods and crab nets.
CONS: Bugs. The flying bugs are bad. You either need a breeze or can of bug spray. We could not have a meal outside because of the bugs. The security light/camera is motion detected and keeps the bugs around when it goes off, and that is frequently.
The cottage has security cameras on the outside, and they are a good and bad thing. They do make the cottage safer, but you never know who is watching or listening. Plus, the VRBO description was not clear, but the property owner and management only allow 6 people on the property at one time. The 7th is a $500 fine and eviction from the cottage.
Besides the quirks it is a good place to relax and enjoy the marsh and nature.
