Cozy
5/5 It was really cute and cozy! The only thing is the driveway has a very steep entrance. So be careful if you don’t have a 4x4 vehicle. I couldn’t figure out how to start the oven but the stove worked fine. It’s close to the town and we had fun!

Cozy Cabin
5/5 Our cozy cabin was great. Cozy, clean and warm. My little one loved it. We made smores and grill the perfect stake. Love it. We will be back soon.
Lots of spiderwebs
2/5 The cabin looked like it hadn't been used it a long time there were so many spiderwebs throughout the house! The chairs around the fire pit were broken we were not able to sit in them. The back door did not lock so they put a chain to keep it closed not secure at all! Did not feel safe especially with small children in the house.

Owner's response: "Erika, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip.
- The cabin has been rented almost every weekend and our on-the-ground contact person makes sure everything is in good shape and that the cabin is guest-ready.
- Our guest contact checked all the seats by the fire pit and all looked fine and usable. It does appear that if you try to sit on the small table that would be wobbly, but the chairs are all fine.
- The back door does lock, one just needs to hold the knob while twisting the lock. We are thinking of looking into a different type of lock for future guests, as this one seems to be confusing. The safety of our guests is important and we would never put anyone in harm's way.
- We have asked our cleaner to pay close attention to the spider webs, unfortunately, this time of year they can be created rather quickly. We apologize for the inconvenience.
We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. We will continue to strive for the 5-star experiences we know we can deliver."Spiderwebs

Cozy and Beautiful Cabin
5/5 My family really enjoyed the time spent at the cabin. It was cozy and had everything we needed. It was super clean and spacious. The cabin is in a great and peaceful location. Plus it is near the shopping strip in Ruidoso. Definitely coming back and recommending it.
