• Stunning Asheville getaway!

  This property is immaculate! The house itself and the yard/creek is even more beautiful then the pictures. Our little family of 4 had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the creek, fire pit and grounds as much as staying in the house. Definitely would recommend, hope to stay again soon!

• Overall nice stay

  The house was surprisingly large on the inside with several rooms so we didn’t feel we were always on top of one another. There was plenty of seating, and the appearance of the inside was very nice. It was nice having the sound of the stream nearby, but there’s not much of a view of it. The location was pretty convenient- not too far from Asheville, which is what we were looking for. I had some difficulty with the heating unit (it’s odd and not user friendly), but the property manager was very prompt in contacting me, and helped me figure out what was going wrong.

  Issues: We arrived late and all the lights on the property were off, which was unnerving as I was arriving with a bunch of kids. There were dead ladybugs everywhere and a bit dusty. It looked like they hadn’t been inside for a while to prepare for our arrival. There are single step offs going from one room to another, which might be problematic for people with mobility issues/elderly. There is also a loft with a ladder going up to it that is really cute, but scared me that my young daughter would have a misstep and fall through the open hole, so I didn’t allow her up there.

  Overall it was a good space for our long weekend, and our issues mentioned above would mostly be easily managed and did not affect the enjoyment of our stay.

• Perfect fall weekend getaway

  We stayed at this newly and fully renovated farmhouse to meet our first grandchild who lives in West Asheville. The property was everything it was described to be. Comfortable beds, updated kitchen and big farm table for dining. It was great for a small family like ours. It was easy to get to Weaverville and Lake Louise. While it is situated on a main country road, it was quiet and sat right next to a babbling creek and has a large privacy fence to block road views and noise.

• Beautifully designed and clean

  Beautiful modern rustic design house, clean, comfortable and close to everything Ashville area has to offer, yet in a bucolic setting next in Weaverville. Very spacious separated en-suites, made for a luxurious getaway for two couples. Would only recommend that written instructions to ease in the operation of heat pump thermostat remotes and extra plates for the otherwise well appointed kitchen be provided
