Great house, perfect location
5/5 House was perfect for our group. Can’t say enough good things about the house. Immaculately clean, well stocked, top notch condition, and the location was super close to breweries and Pisgah forest. The view from the deck is stunning. Having access to the garage was perfect for bike storage. Will definitely look to rent this house again in the future.
Lovely home
5/5 We had a wonderful time at Shifting Gears. I specifically chose this home due to the amenities available for biking such as being able to store bikes in the garage and repair tools. The views from the sunroom were beautiful and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back.
Great location
5/5 We enjoyed our stay! Very convenient to DuPont and Pisgah for biking and hiking. We cooked each night, the kitchen is well stocked. Too cold to enjoy outdoor space but it would be great if weather was pleasant. Nice beds and linens.

5/5 The house was close to everything. The sunroom had a wonderful view any time of day. The house had everything we needed and was spotless. This house felt more like our home than a VRBO. We will be staying again.
