  My family and I enjoyed our 7 night stay in your cabin. The sunrise and sunsets from the porch were a stunning displaying of mountain peeks and abundant wildlife. • Great cabin, amazing views, has everything you need

  It’s a large and beautiful cabin, in a nice location, with great views.

  It has everything you may need, everything works and is in good condition, and even the WiFi has very good speeds through Starlink.

  I would definitely recommend for a couple, family, or group of friends.

• Cleanest Cabin Ever

  This cabin is a gem! While not as secluded or private as others we have stayed in this cabin was definitely the cleanest and best stocked. Linens looked brand new and plenty of extra blankets. Kitchen had everything we needed. Great play area/living area for older teens. The family living area was very nice with gas fireplace. It was perfect for our family of four with grandparents. Extremely dog friendly interior, however not a lot of flat grassy spaces but they loved tromping through the woods. Close to hiking and close enough to thrifting. Easy drive to several neat towns with shopping. Thank you for this wonderful before Christmas get away!!

• DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE A 4X4 OR HUGE TRUCK

  YOU ARE NOW BEING WARNED: DO NOT STAY HERE: THE CABIN WAS NICE, AND WE ONLY STAYED FOR 1 OF OUR 4 NIGHTS. IT IS SO HARD TO GET UP TO THE CABIN. OUR TWO KIDS WERE SCREAMING AND SCARED TO DEATH. WE KNEW THERE WOULD BE HILLS, IT IS NORTH CAROLINA. HOWEVER, WE WERE NOT WARNED AHEAD OF TIME THAT IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO GET TO YOUR CABIN. WE USED MY WIFES SOCCER MOM MINI VAN. MUCH OF THE ROAD IS GRAVEL WITH LEAVES THAT WERE WET. SOME OF THE ROAD IS PAVED ALSO. WE ALMOST WENT OFF THE ROAD TWICE AS WET LEAVES ON GRAVEL AND MANY HUGE GRADES GOING UP AND DOWN. ONCE WE GOT TO THE CABIN, KIDS WERE STILL CRYING ESPECIALLY MY 8 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER. WIFE SAID LETS LEAVE EARLY IN THE MORNING AND PRAY WE GET OUT OF THERE ALIVE AS THE ROAD IS EXTREAMLY UNSAFE GETTING INTO OR OUT OF OUR CABIN. SPENT $1,143 AND GOT TO SAY FOR 11 HOURS. IF THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN A NOTICE OR WARNING ABOUT HOW DIFFICULT IT WAS GETTING INTO OR OUT OF THE CABIN. WE WOULD HAVE NEVER STAYED: I FEEL THE COMPANY REALLY DOES NOT INFORM PEOPLE ABOUT THIS. THE CABIN WAS AS PROMISED, VERY NICE. BUT NOT WORTH IT WHEN IT IS WAY TO EASY TO PUT THE CAR OFF THE SIDE OF THE ROAD THERE. :(

  Hi Craig, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  
  - We try our best to provide a great environment for guests, but the exterior road is simply out of our control. With our location in the mountains, guests should expect a certain degree of windy roads, but we're sorry if this caught you off-guard. Additionally, our guests always enjoy the beautiful view.
  
  - There are multiple cabins on this mountain that are active all year long with short-term guests and long-term residents.
  
  - Any type of vehicle can access the cabin. We personally use a 2010 minivan as our sole vehicle to access the cabin when it is unoccupied. That being said, we regret that you had a poor experience.
