Beautiful place- don’t expect privacy
3/5 The house was beautiful, modern, and I believe a relatively new rental. It was perfect for a couple and two small children with pet. The price was great. It was equipped but missing some key items (extra set of sheets and bedding for pull out bed, no broom, no kitchen towels, only 4 bath towels). The house has two separate units. If you rented them together I imagine they would be better but we only rented the bottom unit and there were people in the upstairs unit the entire time. It was louder than any apt. Or hotel we’ve ever stayed at. We could hear their normal talking voices and every single step they took. We knew when they were cooking, showering, watching TV etc. there was seemingly no insulation between the two spaces. It didn’t seem like they were doing anything out of the ordinary but you could hear EVERYTHING that happened upstairs. It made for late nights and early mornings trying to sleep through the noise.
Also the very modern pull down shades were pretty but you could see through them at night and both the living and bedroom areas had huge sliding doors so there was no semblance of privacy.
Overall would stay again for the price but with knowledge that it is not private or quiet. Also it is not lake front, it’s across the street and the “shared dock” is down the road In another properties yard so it felt weird to use it.
