• New Smyrna Beach condo

  This condo is very well located in New Smyrna Beach, near Canal St. shopping and restaurants. It has beautiful water views, being situated on an inlet of the Intracoastal. We saw dolphins almost daily, a sea turtle, a manatee and many species of birds. The condo is beautifully decorated with artwork and antiques. It has a very large kitchen looking out on the water. The beds were very comfortable and each bedroom had an en-suite bath. The bed in the master, however, is unusually high and required steps to get into it. There were no tv’s in the bedrooms. Downstairs, the tv was located in a back room which also served as the laundry room. There were only two chairs there so accommodating only two people. Also, the washer was extremely noisy when running. The living room had seating for 4, maybe 5 and no tv. The internet went in & out, so watching tv was not dependable. All of these things could be easily corrected for a more enjoyable stay. The neighbors were very friendly and helpful. The pool here was beautiful, but not heated, so very chilly in March. Overall, I very much enjoyed staying in this condo. It would be helpful, though, if instructions had been left giving the username & password for the internet, how to operate the tv, where to find the pool key, how to handle disposal of garbage, etc.

  We really enjoyed the view. We had a fantastic view of the canal which entertained us. There were many boats, fishermen and dolphin.

  The condo was decorated very nicely with antiques and comfortable furniture.

  We also were a short walk to various restaurants

• Beautiful location

  This property was an awesome location close to restaurants and the beach. Very friendly neighborhood and beautiful views of the river. A couple of things did not resonate with us…the Spectrum connection was terrible, TV buffered every few minutes which was very annoying. As well there is only one TV in this property and is located in the same room as the washer/dryer which normally may not be a big issue, however the washing machine was beyond loud (dated) which certainly impacts tv enjoyment. The dryer is also very dated and took well beyond the normal time to dry. As a vacationer having efficient laundry is a must. One other note, the master bedroom which has a beautiful view of the water, the bed was so high we chose to sleep in the second bedroom. Lastly, it would have been nice to have a basic instruction sheet for the property, there was no information on the day to day basics, etc. I only mention the above so that the owners can make some improvements for future guests.
