• Perfect mountain getaway in Boulder

  We enjoyed 10 days at this beautiful property while visiting our son at CU. The location felt so removed from everything and yet it was only a 20 minute drive to downtown Boulder. The views from almost every room are incredible. The house is well appointed and had everything our group of 6 needed. Brian, the property contact, and his wife, Cindy, are phenomenal. Any questions or issues were quickly answered. Communication/service was exceptional. Highly recommend.

• Perfect mountain stay

  My husband and I stayed here for 10 days while visiting our son at CU. This property offers a beautiful, remote setting but is only 20 minutes to downtown Boulder. The house is well appointed and had everything our group of 6 needed. The property contact, Brian, was exceptional. When we had questions or issues, he responded quickly. Brian and his wife, Cindy, were always available. Communication was top-notch.

  I would highly recommend this property.

• Amazing retreat!

  We loved this house. It was secluded and private with amazing views. The nice thing was that we were a short 20 minute drive to downtown Boulder. So.... we had the best of both worlds in this mountain home including rest and relaxation with access to great restaurants. The house was well appointed, had everything we needed and the overall vibe was pretty cool and fantastic. It did get a little warm at times. But, it's summertime after all. I highly recommend staying here. The host, Bryan, was very attentive, responsive and helpful!

• Excellent Colorado Mountain Home

  Sorry this review is a year delayed. Just realized I never left feedback! What a great visit we had to Colorado and the home was great!Loved the view, the home, the furnishings, the pool table. Especially appreciated the neighbor who looked in on us and provided us with fresh hummingbird food. Loved watching the hummers coming by for a snack during the day.Great proximity to Boulder and not a long drive to Rocky Mountain National Park and other great hiking locations!Would love to come back and stay at this wonderful home again someday. • Less than meets the eye

  I am a vacation rental owner that lists on this site as well as on another site, so I am giving you an honest review, and I know what a rental should look like to a guest. Summary: Look elsewhere if you want to spend this kind of money. First, the pictures are far better than the actual place, yet the location was fantastic. The place was filthy as our socks and bare feet told the story. The "chef" kitchen was nice but looks like it was stocked by the "Swedish Chef" from the Muppet Show. The oven was dirty, and the drawers/cabinets looked like they just threw everything from across the room, and the items bought from a yard sale. There were leftovers in the fridge, and some of the food in the cabinet was far past expiration. The Sonos sound system was great, but don't play the music on the deck after 8pm or a neighbor woman will scream at you from her deck. (This rule was not in the handbook). The advanced lighting system is a mess, never knowing what will turn on, where or when. Also, they shouldn't even show the observatory in the pictures because you cannot use it. Finally, when we took the linens off the beds, the mattress cover was dirty and stained, and the pillows were yellowed by sweat..ewe.They left us one roll of paper towels and had to use toilet paper when it ran out and there was no soap or shampoo to be found anywhere. When treating a guest, you try and think of everything a guest could need to the smallest detail, and a spotless environment with fresh linens. I charge 250 a night and you can eat off the floors. Once again, this place is expensive (I paid over 700 a night). With that kind of price, it should be exquisite. Instead, expect Motel No-Tell with this place. Take a pass, you will be glad you did. One last thing. We just got married on the day the lady screamed at us at 8:20pm.

  - We use professional photography so the features you see on the listing are as advertised.
  - We use a professional cleaning company that always does a thorough job preparing the home between guests, and the local Guest Contact ensures the refrigerator is clean.
  - Additionally, the Guest Contact meets each guest when they arrive and walks them through the home to familiarize them with the property and answer any questions.
  - While we want our guests to enjoy their stay here, we also need them to respect our house rules. Unfortunately, we got several complaints from neighbors about your group's noise level. We were also disappointed to hear about the way you spoke to the Guest Contact when they were trying to help resolve things.
  - An explanation of how to use the lights and guidelines around noise and music are in the Welcome Book. Also, the listing clearly states the observatory is not available for guest use.
  - We checked the mattresses and didn't find any stains.
  - We also confirmed that the home was stocked with several unopened packs of toilet paper/paper towels, and each bathroom had a fresh roll of toilet paper.
  The owners work hard to provide an ideal stay for all guests, and we look forward to this home hosting many happy travelers!
