A Great Escape
5/5 We loved our stay in Alexandra's guest house...it was spotless, contemporary and very comfortable! Alexandra and Jack (her pup) were very hospitable hosts as well. The central location was perfect for our daily ventures to the various parks for hiking and for bike rentals, "The Loop" bike trail, the zoo as well as the downtown streetcar and U of A. Our only disappointment was that the pool wasn't accessible but we still enjoyed sitting outside on the patio soaking up the Arizona sun!

Lovely well equipped cottage in downtown Tucson
4/5 We were very comfortable in the cottage with a a few exceptions: the pool is unheated and therefore useless in the winter months. The TV is in the bedroom which makes it impossible for one person to watch when one person is sleeping. The garden is not private because it is all open to the main house.
The kitchen is well quipped and everything works well. I would recommend the cottage for 1 or 2 people at the most since it is small.
Alex, the host, is lovely and available for any problem.
Her son owns one of the best restaurant in Tucson.

From the Owner: "Thank you for the feedback. I appreciate your being my guests. Unfortunately, heating the pool would be extremely expensive, and I would have to charge double the daily fee. As for the TV, I am trying to figure out another location."
