Terrific space for short or long term...
5/5 Live like a local in this large ground-floor apartment far from the downtown cruise crowds, yet close to the airport, Mendenhall Glacier and on Auke Bay--the departure point for whale watch day trips. The space is thoughtfully furnished with attention to every detail, like easy USB power ports and highly visible cards with the web password, and labeled light switches The kitchen is completely equipped and so well supplied with coffee and basic staples. And there are two surprisingly good restaurants within walking distance, the Auke Bay Cafe (great fried cod), and Chan's Thai Kitchen, surprisingly some of the best Thai food I've ever had, and I've had it all over the U.S. Highly recommended and hope to stay there again some day.
