Bucket list vacay
5/5 The six of us stayed here and enjoyed the view. Close to the airport and easy to find. There were a few hiccups, the most significant was navigating the spiral staircase to the 3 bedrooms downstairs. It was a bit shaky and you had to watch your head at the bottom around the pool table. It would have been nice to have chairs in the downstairs bedrooms and around the pool table. Kitchen was nice and there were adequate utensils. The home was heated properly and also had additional floor heat units which helped dry our boots. We didn't use the wood burning stove. The owner quickly responded to our issue with the internet and our request to use the laundry. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

House needs attention!
1/5 No oven. There were two toaster ovens that were very dirty. Took a long time to clean. Gas grill was not usable. There were five of us in the house, and we planned to grill every night. Had to buy a new gas grill. Gave the grill to a local friend when we left. Outside deck had table and four chairs. Two of the chairs were not usable. The seat fabric was rotted and torn. Master shower drain was slow. At the end of the shower I was standing in 2 inches of water. Only one of four bedrooms had black out curtains. Not good for sleeping in Alaska summer. No washer and dryer.

Great choice for a group
5/5 The host and his proxy were amazing. A couple of things weren’t as expected when we arrived, but they were fixed above and beyond by the next morning. Location is near airport and tourist places but on a quiet lake for times when you just need to chill.
