Whether you want to hike to waterfalls at Watkins Glen State Park, rent a boat and partake in water sports, or visit amazing wineries like Belhurst Castle and Winery - this location has it all!
There are over 50 wineries within 40 miles of this property, so you’ll have to try a few and pick out your favorite vintages to take back to enjoy on the deck. The Seneca Lake Wine and Cheese Trail travels right past the house with a huge variety of wineries ranging from Hazlitt on the east side to the unique Belhurst Castle to the north!
Additionally, there are 10 breweries and even a distillery or two. Go to Starkey's Lookout for a great variety of both wine and beer or settle down at Two Goats Brewery, located just across the lake.
Seneca Lake is the largest of the glacial Finger Lakes in New York, so you could spend your whole vacation boating, fishing, or swimming in the refreshing waters. There are also beaches like Sampson State Park for those who’d like to lay out in the sand.
Whenever you're not boating on Seneca Lake or enjoying the breathtaking waterfalls at Watkins
Glen State Park, experience all of the other great attractions, hiking trails, and waterfalls in the area, including Taughannock and Buttermilk Falls, just a short drive away, and the Corning Museum of Glass, just 20 miles to the south.
Don't forget the winter and holiday season, when the Seneca wineries promote Deck the Halls and winter wine specials. The Finger Lakes National Forest has extensive winter snowmobiling trails, while snowboarding and skiing can be enjoyed at Bristol Mountain Ski Resort or Greek Peak Mountain Resort, which also features a year-round water park.

House was good. Fantastic views.
4/5 The house was overall great. We rented end of season but still expected everything to be ready. The barn was under construction. We needed that extra bedroom. Property manager was responsive but we did lose a day. They need to update the pics of bedrooms and what beds are in the rooms. Upstairs has two rooms each with a queen and the third has two twins. There was a mattress underneath one of the twins but if we pulled it out no floor room to walk around. Great for kids room, we were a group of adults.The view from this house was amazing. Screens were missing in some windows and the slider screen had holes in it. Stink bugs were getting in. House needs a good overall cleaning especially kitchen. I always look at ceiling fans and vents, they don't. Grill needs replacing. Overall we would rent this house again. Finger Lakes region was amazing. Easy 30 min. drive to get into Corning for the marathon.

Nice property!
4/5 Very comfortable home in a great location. The owner was communicative, and we had no issues with access; they even shared a lot of great ideas for activities during our stay. Incredible deck and view! The only negatives: The house was lacking garbage bags (collecting your own trash for the dumpster was a requirement) and laundry detergent (starting a load of laundry at checkout was a requirement), but other than these items, a terrific house and experience. Thank you!

5/5 Loved the location. Near everything, but away from Crowds. Gorgeous view from deck all day long. Definitely 5 star in my book
