  The property was beautiful, clean . The one problem we did encounter was that the unit was on the 8th floor, and the entire visit one or both elevators were out all the time. We had both elevators out of service for 3 days in a row. I just had my hip replaced, and it rendered me incapable of going out of the apartment, due to my inability to walk 130 steps upward and downwards consistently.

  This was the biggest disappointment of our trip.

• Great view but that’s about it

  No hot water, there’s no hottub despite the listing saying so (it’s a kiddie pool that’s colder than the two other pools). I emailed the host about us having to take cold showers the ENTIRE stay and they did nothing about it. Very disappointed. Fair location and great view. The curtains didn’t extend all the way so we work up at sunrise every morning and not by choice due to the light shining in. Not worth the price.

  - During your stay, we confirmed that the breakers had been turned off, and our management informed you about the procedure for activating the hot water.
  - We aim for transparency and our listing is accurately advertised. For amenities, there isn't a hot tub and we never confirmed with guests that there is one available..
  - Communication is important to us and we maintain consistent availability for any questions or concerns that guests have during their stay with us.

  My husband and I stayed at Pelican Reef in room 804 from 8/21 until 8/28. We enjoyed the stay but the studio albeit had great views of the ocean and amazing views from the balcony of all of Rincon. The apartment was missing a few things that are basic for a VRBO. There was no coffee maker for one and we had to go out to the local bakeries for that which got me out earlier in the morning for sure. No broom, or mop stick for cleaning. The beach chairs were old which is fine but one was completely broken on one side and very precarious to sit on.

  All over it is a very nice place to stay and in a beautiful setting. I would have rated it excellent but some of the basics should be checked between visitors.

  We met some of the year round owners and they were the nicest people ever my hats off to Pedro (the mayor of Pelican Reef) he was such a kind and knowledgable individual of all of the area and Puerto Rico in general.
