• No privacy & big dog!!

  The owners live at the property & have a big dog. I was contacted several times prior to arrival telling me about all the rules & all the things that I can't do & have to do. I was also contacted numerous times while we were there regarding the same. My confirmation stated that we were a party of 5. The owners told me that only 4 people were allowed. We were harrassed upon arrival. During the week the owner came into the unit on his own, peeked in the windows, asked what we were cooking, complained how we parked our car, asked what we were doing, stood outside watching us come & go, their big dog jumped up on our food when we were BBQ'ing in the backyard & the dog peed on my kayak!!

  Hi Lisa, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip. After sending your feedback to the homeowner, they’d like to share the following:
  - At this time, we are checking in with guests before arrival to get an idea of their exposure to the virus to be very cautious about our tenants
  - We like to greet our guests and show them where everything is (fire hydrant in kitchen, fuse box in the closet, the shortcut to back yard, how to use the grill)
  - We also let guests know that we have a very friendly chocolate lab, Hunter, who is occasionally let outside but in general, he is kept inside
  - We have many boats and kayaks in our backyard and we apologize that our dog was probably marking his territory
  - We have a long hose in the back next to the outdoor shower, which we use to hose accidents, that is easily available for guests in such situations
  - As for the parking, our street parking is limited because neighbors own multiple cars, however, we try to keep a spot open so guests can unload and then park somewhere else on our street
  - We ask guests to not block driveways or park near hydrants, which is all we were pointing out to your group

• Comfortable house, great location, backyard not inviting

  I had a great stay ... Thehouse was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. I loved the location.. the proximity to the bay, the ocean, and Island Beach State Park. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Although this was not much of a problem for me who spent little time at the house, the shared backyard was the only downside. It is not well-kept or inviting, and I didn't feel comfortable about using it. I had a very enjoyable stay in Seaside Park as it is a very special place for me. I would rent again. Gracias!

• Excellent Jersey Shore rental

  We were very happy with our stay. The booking and arrival information was very easy and the owner contacted a week before to confirm and give us information. Everything was flawless. The home itself is an easy 10 minute walk to a great beach. The living room and one bedroom have air conditioners, the master bedroom does not, but it was kept cool with the door open and and an overhead fan. The one bathroom was perfect for our four person family. The kitchen facilities were very good and everything was in working order. We met the owners a few times and visited with them, very nice and gracious people. We will definitely be back.

• Great place to stay in Seaside Park!

  This place was exactly as offered. It was great if you love going to both the beach and the bay, less than 5 minute walk to both. Owners are helpful for any needs you may have. I loved the enclosed porch in the front, spent hours in the morning and in the evening sitting out there with coffee/cocktails and reading. Bed in the master bedroom is extra firm so if you like something a little softer bring an egg crate with you, other than that, everything was great! Would definitely stay there again.
