We were 3 families who stayed 3 nights and had a very good safe time. The owner was extremely friendly and accommodating., the kitchen was fully usable, and there was plenty of room for all of us to sleep and enjoy each other’s company. Huge yard and patio for playing games, use of grill and 2 fire pits, and the lake is really pretty. No fish stories to tell, but apparently there’s a time and place for that. We had a pontoon with us, however it’s idle only. No problem for us though. We definitely recommend it.

These folks were very accommodating, friendly & informative. This place suited our needs, we really enjoyed our time there. Fishing wasn't the greatest (1.5 weeks too late, is what were told by the locals). We did catch fish but not as many keepers as would've liked. We will definitely be back!

Awesome place to stay. Clean, comfortable, and hosts that go the extra mile

We slept 6 adults with no issues. Jeremy and Andrienne (your hosts) are the nicest people you'll meet. Full kitchen, fireplace, wifi, comfortable beds, well cared for, big kitchen table, I could go on and on. If you enjoy peace and quiet with a great view this is perfect, yet close enough to plenty of other things to do. A stones throw from the lake with a boat ramp in walking distance. Located in the middle of an outdoors enthusiasts paradise. You will not be disappointed. Will for sure stay here again!

The house was very nice and everything was very clean and orderly. The hosts were very friendly and gave us some ideas and pointers for our stay and answered all our questions. It felt very private and the patio and deck were beautiful! A great price for a nice house right near the lake, only about a 30 sec drive or a few minutes walk. The only downside was the shower. It is very small and the water heater is on demand so several times it ran out of hot water during a shower! Didn't ruin the weekend by any means, we just learned to go faster LOL

One father/uncle, eight cousins plus 3 spouses, 2 teenagers and one grandson's family of 6 gathered in Keosauqua as a central location convenient for most. Nine of us were very comfortable sleeping at LakeShore Hideout, and all of us enjoyed yard games, lounging on the patio and eating meals in this beautiful setting. Adrienne was SO helpful prior to our stay, during the stay, and even searched for the 7-year old's lost penknife after we left. We will definitely find an opportunity to return.
