This is a cute little cabin and made our trip that much more enjoyable. It lives up to the beautiful photos. Everything was labeled, which made finding the right light switches easy. The bed was comfortable and warm, the TV and the wireless internet worked great. Even with the windows shades open, you have a lot of privacy. The shower isn't very big (it's a stand-up shower that gives you about 6-7 feet of clearance), so keep that in mind. But overall, our stay was very pleasant. By the way, the restaurant down the street is amazing, and you need to try that too.

Easy access to The Plaza but tucked away in Tesuque. If you like funky and forest this is perfect location for Winsor Trail/Santa Fe National Forest yet two blocks to Tesuque Village Market (super nifty restaurant, bar, and market). Simple , clean, and cost-effective cabin had everything we needed for two and friendly hosts who're available and also offer privacy. Very much appreciated being one of the locals for a few days!

This cozy little cabin was very comfortable and stocked with all the amenities we needed (dishes, silverware, coffee maker, toilet paper, towels, extra hangers in the wardrobe, TV, etc.). We slept great in the bed and enjoyed all the natural lighting while getting ready in the mornings. The cabin is also within walking distance to a great little restaurant / market, and short driving distance to the main highway. This convenient location doesn't take away from the privacy of the cabin, though; staying here you really feel like you're tucked away in the forest! Some things to keep in mind: * There are skylights above the bed, so don't plan on sleeping late unless you bring a sleep mask. * This is a log cabin, so depending on the time of year, there will be some bugs and there will be some dust. Due to the wall joints and the texture of the building materials, it cannot be perfectly clean. If you are super squeamish about bugs then this may not be the place for you. * If you stay here in the summer and are very hot-natured, you might bring a fan. There is a ceiling fan and all the windows can be left open during the night, but for some that may not be cool enough (I thought it was perfectly cool but my husband disagreed!). Overall, it is a cute super cozy place, and we had a great stay there.

The property was peaceful and quiet and located near many things. There as one problem however. Many beetles enter the space everyday. I had to kill several of them per day. I also encountered quite a few spiders, even in my hanging towels twice and in the shower. I was uneasy sleeping at night because bugs got into my bed and the sofa bed and I had to inspect the beds at night making sure another beetle did not crawl up. I am not complaining the owners were quite friendly I just hated combating all the bugs!!!

The kitchen area was perfect for making breakfast and other simple meals. The hosts are lovely people, and very responsive to any questions or needs. We look forward to staying here again!

    Manager's Response:
Jennifer, we love hearing you enjoyed your stay at this condo overall. The homeowners would like to deliver the following message:

"We had it professionally cleaned, but then we had to bring someone in to fix the heater (the thermal coupler needed replacing) last minute and that may have affected how clean it was. We hadn’t realized that we didn’t have a coffee maker available… we brought it in the house to give it a good cleaning and unfortunately it got put away in our house and forgotten about… I know how important coffee is in the morning! We are sorry that your experience was not what it could have been."

The homeowners work hard to sure all visits exceed guest expectations. We look forward to this cabin continuing to host satisfied guests! Best, the Evolve Team

This rental was everything!!! It looks exactly as pictured and was so cute. The location was perfectly secluded yet close to the city and check in and check out were easy. Only thing is that you need to go through the door with a B on it. There are 3 different doors and we walked onto other people's property without knowing it which was kinda scary. Otherwise it was totally fab!

I stayed in this beautiful cabin for nearly a week and did not want to leave It is filled with natural light, whimsical touches, quality linens, pantry basics ... everything you need. The kitchen is well set up and I easily made breakfast, lunch and dinner most days. Lying in bed looking up at the trees in the morning (big skylights!) added to the feeling of escape and tranquility. Fairy lit outdoor areas to enjoy in the evening, or to welcome the new the day with a coffee. I didn't have a car while staying, but there are a couple of restaurants in walking distance and it's a fairly short Uber ride to Santa Fe Plaza. Though the cabin is private, if you do see the hosts, feel blessed! They are beautiful souls who will go out of their way to ensure you have a memorable experience. Thank you - I will be back

    Excellent Vacation Rental

    Reviewed by: Experienced Travler on

Location – this vacation rental is in what it now my favorite part of Santa Fe. The property is in a green area not far from a creek, and there are beautiful cottonwood trees throughout the neighborhood. The area was quiet, and the location of the cabin on the hosts’ property is nicely secluded.

The Cabin – the cabin was well equipped with plenty of places to sit and read or relax. I made myself coffee in the french press every morning and had my coffee on the patio. Even in July the mornings were still cool and it was a great place to sit and wake up while doing a little reading and bird watching.

The bed was very comfortable and I think new. The linens were of nice quality and there were plenty of pillows and blankets and such. Because of the cool nights and good location, I was able to sleep with the doors and windows open every night listening to crickets at night and waking up to chirping birds. It was so good.

The kitchen is small but well equipped for making light meals. I did cook once while I was there, and drank some wine. I went to look for a wine opener – it was there. Wine glasses? Check. Every time I needed something it seemed the owners had supplied it, and it was funny because the item I would hope to find was always in the first place I looked. The bathroom was comfortable and well equipped – the soaps and towels were of really nice quality and made me feel a bit spoiled.

The hosts went out of their way to make sure I had a good stay, and responded quickly when I had a question. Throughout my stay I was comfortable and it was a great place to unwind and have some quiet time. The cabin was light, bright, and clean. I was traveling back to Santa Fe the following month and tried to stay there again, and was disappointed that it was booked.
