We had a group of 7 stay at the property for an outdoorsy girls weekend and it was amazing! I would definitely recommend staying at least two nights, if only because it really is in the middle of nowhere and you've to take advantage of everything the place has to offer: canoes, SUP, pontoon (included and you take it out yourself), campfire, and trails on site. The one-shower situation can be dicey, but if you stay at the property - who cares? :)
Dave & Rusty were extremely communicative and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Everyone in our group agreed that they would be keen to stay here again.

We always love to get away from the business of life and relax at Happy Farm. The cabin and grounds are so well-maintained. Everything always look lovely, and we have everything we need there. The private lake is wonderful for paddling and swimming, and the new swimming dock makes it even more perfect. Rusty and David are the most accommodating and friendly hosts! Our kids beg for a late summer getaway to Happy Farm every year!
My family of 9 had such a great time at the amazing Happy Farm! It's the perfect place to relax and have fun. The property is secluded and really felt like we had our own resort! The super sweet owners have a separate house on the property, but we didn't really see them much. Being so secluded, and no wifi and spotty cell service, it was actually nice having them on the property in case anything were to happen. The only thing missing at the property is a washer/dryer, but that wouldn't stop us from coming again. So many amenities we enjoyed- pontoon boat, water trampoline, canoe, kayak, paddle board, pool table, ping pong table, darts, foosball, cards, corn hole, firepit, and hiking trails. Highly recommend!
Myself, fiance and our two dogs enjoy a cabin retronce a year. This year, we were fortunate enough to stay at Happy Farm. It was relaxation at its best and we enjoyed the smores they left us to make over the fire pit.
