We loved being at Beth's ranch. It is a few minutes out of town and after a day of hiking And adventure it was a great retreat. We stayed one week and did plenty including a music fest! Beth supplied fire wood for cool evenings for the quaint wood stove. Highly recommend, everything you need . Just bring groceries! She has two lovely dogs as well. Thanks Beth!

Thanks you Beth we had a great weekend in Bend. House had everything we needed. Clean. Comfortable bed. Especially loved hanging out with the dogs :)

Beth?s cottage was very clean with everything you need. Beth also gave some eggs from her free range chickens. Jazz the dog is very friendly. Very quiet. No reservations. We?ll be back.

Our stay here was cut short due to a personal emergency back at home - but before we had to leave we had a good time. Beth was very helpful and available when ever we needed her to be. The studio is very clean and comfortable. We knew it was out of town when we booked it & would recommend that any quests factor that into their stay and bring food & beverages with them when they check in. Bend is always a great place to.

We chose this property because my sister lives a short distance away. We enjoyed the quiet studio, but we were not there much, just to sleep. So much more than we expected was furnished, including toilet paper and paper towels. There was shampoo, conditioner, dish soap and laundry soap in the unit. The king sized bed was VERY comfortable. We did not use the wood stove. The only thing Beth could do to make this perfect would be a couple of night lights to illuminate the step down from the bed platform. Beth was present when needed, but not intrusive at all. Her two dogs, Jez and Cody, were very friendly and well-behaved. Thanks, Beth!

Loved the cottage. And being greeted by the dogs was a treat as we left our fur kids at home. It was peaceful and had everything we needed.

Loved the visiting roosters, chickens, and friendly dogs! Fireplace was wonderful; location was very quiet and convenient. Beth was very responsive and available. Great stay!

We booked this place for a short weekend away. It was very quiet and comfortable. The drive into town is less than 10 minutes and provided a very scenic trip to several of the local brewery?s and shopping. We will book this location again on another trip into the Bend area in the near future.

Nice place to stay with very good host. Comfortable with nice warm house, laundry facilities and kitchen, good parking area and nice land around the house to enjoy a comfortable time.

Quiet location hosted by very pleasant owner helpful with great tips about the area. Very cozy and clean, having all we needed for fixing our meals. We had opportunity to have a fire in wood stove that really gave us a warm homey atmosphere.

Quiet country location about 15 minutes to downtown, 8-10 minutes to good eats. The place is spacious and totally acceptable. Bed is comfy and the WiFi works. The host is exceptional. She went out of her way to make us happy. Overall a great place to stay in Bend if you want to trade a few minutes drive for a fatter wallet.

It was a cute cozy cottage. The place was very clean and everything was in working order. Dogs will keep you company if you are missing yours that you left at home.:) Bend is great place to spend some vacation time.

Nice and clean. Comfortable and more accommodating that a hotel. Loved having the wood stove too.

Beth is a very welcoming host. Terrific communication and easy arrival and departure transitions. Beth gave us a dozen fresh eggs from her chickens. The space was warm and welcoming. The wood stove was a bonus during the cold days. It was an easy ride into town and the location was quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay again.

We truly enjoyed the cottage, the friendly dogs, chickens, and hostess! It was the perfect place to come "home to" after a day of wedding activities and outdoor adventures. The lighting was a bit dim for looking at our maps and literature, but otherwise... perfect!

Everything you need. Great place to stay.

We received a very warm welcome. The house is spacious and I found it in reality nicer than the pictures on the web. There is a cool little terras where you can take your breakfast. You will receive some company of the chickens and the 2 friendly dogs but no worry it's lot of fun ;) I really recommend this place if you like a quiet and peaceful environment.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely studio cottage while in the Bend area. It was well maintained and very clean. It was stocked with everything we needed and it felt like home.

Nice, quiet place out in the country (down a dirt road!) on one of those 5 acre 'ranches' Bend has so many of. The place is as presented on the website as one big room with the bed on a raised platform...watch your step at night. The people there were friendly and kind, and the fresh eggs wonderful! The dogs were fun, but the chickens a bit pushy when they came up on the deck. The studio apartment is the back of their garage with a separate entrance, but clean, decorated nicely with air conditioning, too. Watching the sunset from the front yard was beautiful. The deck for the studio is next to the owners back door so at times we felt a little cramped. Wish they still took dogs so we could come back.

This is an awesome space. Has everything you need and enough space to feel at home. Very clean and comfy. I loved the friendly dogs and chickens and happily ate the eggs that were in the studio. Super serene and just a short drive to downtown and lots of hiking locations.

Very much enjoyed our stay in the little cottage. Full kitchen with everything needed (except the food) to prepare meals. Wonderful country feel yet so close to town. We loved our stay!

The cottage was very nice and super clean. The host lives within spitting distance of the cottage so if that is something that bothers you than this is not the right place for you. She respected our privacy very well and even gave us some fresh eggs from her chickens during our stay and they were outstanding! One of her dogs gets a little grumpy when another dog gets too close. Was easy to deal with as long as you were outside with the dogs monitoring their activity. The setting was extremely quiet and a quick 10 minute drive to the heart of Bend. We would definitely go back!

A very nice studio! Beth was so nice and welcoming. We brought our chocolate lab and he has able to run in her yard and play with her pups. She even brought us fresh eggs one morning. A nice relaxing place to stay just outside of bend. Also check out Pine Nursery Park for a great dog park.

Wonderful place to stay. Beth was super friendly and helpful. Despite the cottage being near the home owner, the place felt private. Super comfortable bed, friendly dogs in the yard and farm fresh eggs. We loved our stay. Close drive to Smith Rock for some super fun sport climbing.

A cozy, well-equipped studio in a quiet rural setting. So peaceful. Beth is an excellent host. I enjoyed playing with her friendly dogs. I'll be back!

My boyfriend and our dog Max (border collie) loved staying here! Beth the property owner was very hospitable and available if we needed anything. Even gave us some farm fresh eggs from their chickens! The property sits on several acres which made it convenient to get outside and play with Max. Beth had her own dogs which are so sweet and we loved having them all together playing frisbee in the snow! We felt like we were in the country but we were only 5 miles from all the great restaurants in downtown Bend! All in all a great find, the studio was warm and had a really comfortable and cozy bed and a full kitchen with everything we needed. Highly recommend! *Originally posted on Homeaway/VRBO for a stay in December 2016
Beth was wonderful and met us with keys when we arrived. We were traveling from Portland after work so did not check in until 8pm. We had a family Christmas so did not spend a lot of time at the cottage but the time we did spend was comfortable and enjoyable. Beth even went in and left some more firewood for us upon request. Would highly reccomend this little rental if staying in the Bend area. Set off the beaten path but an easy drive into town. *Originally posted on Homeaway/VRBO for a stay in January 2017
This was our second time staying at this cottage, because we liked it so much the last time we visited Bend. It is clean and comfortable and well-appointed, the scenery is lovely, the owner is very friendly and accommodating, and the dogs will chase a ball as long as you are willing to throw it! The location is good - we were able to get to all the places we wanted to see for hiking and sight-seeing. We enjoyed the wood burning stove on the chilly nights, and we cooked dinner outside on the grill several times. It's the perfect place to stay!

Such a lovely place. It is cozy and full of creature comforts. The high ceilings make it feel super big. My husband and I enjoyed a romantic get-away from it all. We both love to cook, so it was nice having a fully equipped kitchen.

This cottage was just what we needed. Beautiful setting. Very clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Had coffee on deck in morning and enjoyed the stroll to the beautiful pond. Wonderful experience of true country hospitality. Our boxer loved running the five acres each day. It was a great time of fun and frolic for him. Owner was most gracious and friendly. We made a new friend that I want to come back to see again. She is a wonderful person. She helped us in our decision to relocate here in Bend with the wealth of information we received to the many questions we asked. You will not be sorry you stayed here.

This was the perfect place to stay for us and our lab. She loved running around with the resident dogs and swimming in the pond. A wonderful location close to everything we needed in town yet the feeling of being in the country. The owner was very nice.

The house was furnished comfortably. It had all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The area is absolutely beautiful and away from any busy streets! I made good friends with the owners dogs, they were great company for me and my dogs! I also loved hearing the California ( Valley) quail in the evening right outside my door! The cottage was still very close to everything Bend!

This vacation rental was amazing! It's in a great location, just on the edge of the city (but easy to drive to and from, and still close to a lot of activities and attractions) with amazing views of the mountains, trees and local scenery. It feels very private and secluded, and is super cozy with everything you would need on a vacation or extended stay away from home: full kitchen, washer and dryer, seriously comfy bed, quality furnishings, wifi, satellite TV, and a cute outdoor patio for sitting outside and relaxing. The host/owner is so nice, welcoming and accommodating--very friendly and greeted us warmly when we arrived, and explained everything that we needed to know for our stay. She also has a couple very friendly and adorable dogs on her property that greeted us. This rental also allows pets for a small fee, which is very reasonable. It's SO much nicer than other vacation rentals I've stayed in that allow pets. We stayed at this place because we had just moved to town and our apartment wasn't ready yet. I loved staying here and didn't want to go when our apartment was ready for move-in and we had to leave! I would definitely stay here again if we didn't have a permanent residence in Bend now. I wish all vacation rentals were like this! I would absolutely recommend this place to friends and family interested in staying and visiting in the Bend area. It's comfortable with loads of great amenities and is very reasonably priced. I miss it already!

Great place to stay just outside of Bend. Close to the city, but far enough removed to see stars, cows, and chickens. The owner and her dogs came out to greet us upon arrival. Very warm and inviting. Cozy bed, wood stove with wood provided, comfortable recliners and a full kitchen. Had a great time, and would highly recommend it!

This cottage is ideal for a couple. It is clean and comfortable and away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to town and all the hiking, biking and kayaking you could wish for.
Beth is friendly and accommodating. The dogs that live on the property will fetch the ball as long as you're willing to throw it. They are very sweet.
The patio out back is great for morning coffee and the wood stove is wonderful for the chillier evenings.
We will definitely want to stay here on our next trip to Bend.
What a great place, giant room with all the comforts of home. Very luxurious bed. All in a quiet setting.
