I wish we had loved casa oasis as much as we were hoping to. After 4 days exploring the hustle and bustle of La Paz, we were excited for a quiet, intimate second half of our vacation in the Oasis studio unit. Unfortunately, the 4 days we spent there felt about as romantic as a week with the in-laws, especially once we received a barrage of rules and instructions upon arrival. While the unit as a whole was beautiful, I do have to reiterate the previous review that the studio kitchen feels outdated and dingy (dirty dishes and we found cockroaches and droppings in the old coffeemaker). The shower head definitely needs to be replaced, as previously mentioned. It should also be noted that the owners live in the unit directly next to (just a few steps) from the studio- so there is no privacy whatsoever, especially since all the windows need to be kept open. Loud TV noise, their dog barking for hours , day to day noise of the owners just felt like we were staying in a stranger’s spare bedroom. Due to that we spent more time away from the unit than we had anticipated. The membership to El Faro Club was a welcome amenity. It’s likely that the larger unit may be more private and relaxing, but the studio definitely gets the short end of the stick.
Thanks for taking the time to leave this review! We shared your feedback with the homeowners, who asked us to pass along the following: "Thank you, Kayja, for alerting us to things we need to address. We wish you had said something when you passed the office daily and we asked how everything was. The peaceful enjoyment of our beautiful property by our guests is very important to us. We are not sure what you meant by “a barrage of rules”. Most guests appreciate a brief tour of the facilities available for your use, and a few minutes on how to use the WiFi, TV, and room safe. All of this is also found in the guest book in your room, but most people like quick instructions. We alerted our housekeeper, Liliana, about your report of dirty dishes and cockroaches so she makes extra efforts in assuring cleanliness in the future. Cockroaches nearly always come into a unit with guests' grocery bags and cartons. To protect guests' health we do not use toxic chemicals as many hotels do; instead, we use environmentally friendly ways to eliminate bugs. You mentioned “the old coffeemaker" - it is a top-of-the-line Cuisinart that we bought just four months ago. The showerhead is also new: we upgraded it after the previous review you mentioned. Since we live in another apartment on the same floor, we honestly make a real effort to be as quiet as possible and respect each guest’s privacy. Our dogs are rescued dogs, as are all the other dogs in this residential neighborhood. We work collectively with the neighbors to reduce barking, and there has been much improvement. Thank you for your kind words about our other vacation apartment and your enjoyment of our guest membership in the El Faro Beach Club. We hope you will be back as we continue to improve." Thanks again! Best, the Evolve Team
Casa Oasis is a true vacation paradise. The weather in Todos Santos is picture perfect....warm, sunny days with little humidity and cool evenings. Staying here was very relaxing and comfortable. The property is gorgeous with everything you could need and the hosts, Patricia and Charles, are charming and very gracious. Highly recommended!

Stayed for a few nights in the studio apartment at this suite and left with mixed feelings. Had inquired beforehand about a heated pool/hottub and was told by Evolve that the spa was heated. It was as frigid as the pool so we did not use. The access to El Faro saved the stay by far as was an excellent and relaxing spot to hang by their pool, and was not too far away from this home.
The rooftop area was great for morning coffee with nice views. The firepit didnt work for the entire stay until the last night but I had to ask owner about it as they didnt seem too motivated themselves.
The studio itself is ok. The bed too soft, and the kitchen very dated (smelly cabinet and kitchen items), so we mostly ate out in Todos Santos, 5-10minutes drive up one of the worst dirt roads you'll come across. The shower sprayer was confounding and needs to be updated. Sheer curtains and relentless dog barking means you will be up EARLY.
Happy we came to Todos Santos, not sure we'll be back, but likely would try somewhere else to stay. I guess you get what you pay for. Owners very helpful, but do bombard you with info and rules the moment you step in the gate.
The spa is not a "Hot Tub" so we’ve arranged guest's membership in the nearby "El Faro Beach Club" which does have a heated pool.
The firepit propane regulator had been damaged by a previous guest without our knowledge, and when notified we repaired it.
The kitchenette is new, less than a year old, and we did not detect any stale or unpleasant odors, but have alerted the housekeeper to be aware of the guest's concern.
The unpaved road was impacted be a hurricane last October and we have complained to the municipality and some effort was made to level the surface. It is not the worst road in the community, but we will continue pressing for improvements.
We will replace the shower sprayer with a more expensive model, as was suggested.
There are dogs in the neighborhood that bark, but home owners in the area are working to control this problem and have made improvements. Most of the dogs are rescued animals who are fearful, receiving needed affection from their new owners.
Charles and Patricia are wonderful hosts, and the spaces they have created at Casa Oasis are truly splendid. The day passes at El Faro Beach Club are an incredible bonus.

Staying at Casa Oasis with Charles and Patricia was a dream. Their hospitality coupled with the luxurious comfort of the room, the quintessential Baja California view of the ocean, and the unbeatable climate made for a perfect stay. Charles and Patricia went out of there way to take care of all our visitor needs (they even bought a new iron just because I needed one)! The telescope and night sky were like the cherry on top. Couldn?t recommend it more!

Patricia and Charles were wonderful hosts, adding insight, warmth, and even an impromptu tequila tasting on our first morning there. The location is perfect in terms of view, proximity to beach, and being close enough to Todos Santos, but not too deep in the city hustle and bustle. Very comfortable and easy to use. Rooftop views and gas fire make for a beautiful day or night chill spot. Only downsides were that the pool/hot tub heater are not yet in, but the inclusion of access to the El Faro beach club nearby made up for it. The wifi was a bit wonky to get on, and slow once you did. But these were small issues in comparison to the spectacular stay we had at Casa Oasis!!!! Definitely going back.

Looking for peace in the holy week, Casa Oasis Todos Santos was a great place to be. We stayed in a Master Suite, very clean and comfortable, with a queen size bed, its own bathroom and a small place equipped with all you need to prepare your own meals. Everything is new at the house. We enjoyed the views of the endless Ocean during the day and a sky full of stars at night, right from the third floor deck. Even you may feel the desert, right in front of the house there is an amazing Oasis full of green. It has a pool that we loved when we get back from a hike at the beach. We enjoyed hiking everyday, exploring out the beach, the Oasis and the desert. The owners are a wonderful couple, Charles and Patricia the best hosts, friendly and kind ready to give you the best advice to use you time wisely, we even used Charles telescope to see the stars.Todos Santos town turned to be a magical place with nice stores, restaurants and art galleries. We'll be back for sure. Genaro, Mexico City
