Thanksgiving Getaway 2023
5/5 My family and I our sweet Pooch were looking to get away for the Thanksgiving weekend to rest and unwind.
The Red Bird Hideaway was situated perfectly just a few minutes away from Overlook Park, for a nice walk/hike as well as to get a beautiful view of the lake itself.
We also had various options for dining at our disposal, our family's personal favorites were Granny D's and Wildflour Artisan Bakery & Grill.
The house itself is beautiful and spacious, with that country home comfort that we were looking for. The amenities were great!
We hope to come back again in the future!

One of the best places we've stayed
5/5 We came to town for the German Christmas market. This little hideaway was just amazing. Plenty of room for everyone, a fenced yard for the kids and pets, and the lake is right around the corner. My husband enjoyed the hot tub very much. The couch is way bigger than you think and everything is so comfortable. It's easy to find but if you come in to town early evening be very wary of the deer. They are literally everywhere! San Marco and New Braunfels are very close. We went to the outlet mall as well as New Braunfels. The owners are great to work with and we enjoyed our time very much.
