Winter Family Vacation
5/5 My family and I came here to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, and to get a little downtime before the holidays. The house and grounds are great! It was clean with plenty to do and I especially loved the added Christmas decorations. The house was well stocked and cute and cozy. The handheld shower in the closet tub took a bit of getting used to but we managed to fine. It’s close to a lot of fun hill country adventures and there is a state park a half a mile away. Anna was great to work with and friendly. I would highly recommend this location!

Great location, Ample outdoor room
4/5 The property is located closer to Canyon Lake than any other property we found. Indoors were nice and mostly as described. There is a multitude of outdoor seating areas and grilling area and pets would love this place. The cooling inside was way better than the listing suggests. Outdoors are so nicely wooded that we were able to spend a lot of time outside on an otherwise hot summer evening and saw deer and some interesting reptiles we spent a lot of time watching. The hot tub button did not work and eventually talked to the manager and was guided to the controls that got things working. The access key could use some more detailed instructions on which one to use (there were two keying areas on each entry) and it needed multiple tries to get unlocked since it was sensitive to the timing (the manager helped over the phone). Overall, our group of 3 families and dog had an amazing time at this property. This has nothing to do with the property but we meant to go to Paddle Canyon Lake but the lot filled up fast and were diverted to the main Canyon Lake Beach area which was a less than ideal beach.
