Great time, beautiful home. Small issue with the AC the first night but it was resolved quickly.

The house is clean and well maintained. The deck, living room, and pool room downstairs provided perfect entertainment space for our family and friends. I've stayed in a lot of home rental properties. One criticism I have is that some of the usual extras that come with the rental were not included here. We had to bring our own dish soap, sponge, shampoo, and condiments. While the rental agreement does not state that these will be present, I have become accustomed to seeing these at rental properties. In addition, the propane in the grill was very low. On our last night we could not get the fire quite hot enough. I get that this happens. It may be a good idea to stash an extra propane tank on the property in case the current one runs out during a stay.

Great location, great owner/host. House description a bit over blown.

The house was great! There were lots of things to do with the kids within an hours drive. The house had games and a pool table for the kids.

We spent 6 nights in this lovely home when our daughter got married at the Blue Mountain resort. The home was clean and had plenty of room for the eight of us. The peaceful views from the deck overlooking the woods helped to give us a sense of calm during a busy pre-wedding period. We also enjoyed the game room, even thought my wife beat me 11 out of 12 games of pool! The cookies and flowers were a great touch. We would highly recommend this home.

Owner has no sense of hospitality! I asked after checking in that we would need a blender.. owner told me where I can go near by to buy one! The carpet in each room and in common area had dead caterpillars and other insects. I decided to clean the carpet and patio myself so went looking for vacuum cleaner .. I found one that has duck tapped hose and it was not working. I took pictures of that and txt to owner .. owner asked "what about brooms?" .. I felt trapped ... paid so much money and evolve didn't do anything at all to help and directed me to talk to owner only. Finally I used broom and cleaned for hours to get to a livable level. Dishes in the kitchen were not clean and there is not dishwasher! The heating and cooling system is not calibrated! Basement is coldest and upstairs it becomes so hot ... warm setting only warm upstairs and cool setting makes basement freezing! I can go on and on .. but point is .. if you like this place then just go camping.. save money .. there is no sense of making your money worth by booking this place!
What a great place for a family gathering! Beautiful view of Blue Mountain, Close to Jim Thorpe and plenty to do. Can't wait to come back again!
My family and I have stayed at Hi-Livin many times in the past years. The location is very close to Blue Mountain which is convenient since we have to drop off and pick up our teens for skiing! The hubby and I can then hang back at the house and enjoy the peace and quiet. The view of the slopes from the deck is so wonderful to gaze at night while relaxing by the fire with friends and family. I love the pool table and ping pong! Hours of enjoyment for the kids after a day of skiing!. We have also stayed here in the summer months with friends for weekend getaways. The house is very clean with and so inviting as soon as you open the front door! Cant wait to get back to High Livin!
The place was great. Slept 6 of us very comfortably and the new renovations make the place exceptionally clean. Great location to Blue and even better view of the mountain. Would definitely come back. Easy to communicate w Owner
The place was great, well kept and clean with plenty of room for our party of 4 adults; the ground floor had a game room with pool table, games, darts and extra bunks that would be great for kids. We are skiers and quick access to Blue Mountain Ski Resort was key. The ski resort is clearly visible from the house with great views and only a five minute drive. We enjoyed our stay.
We stayed 2 nights (Feb 10-12, 2017) for a ski weekend at Blue Mountain. The house was spacious, clean, cozy and comfortable with everything that we needed for a short weekend getaway. The house was perfect for 2 families (4 adults/5 kids) plus a couple extra friends for the kids. The bedrooms were spacious and warm. The bathrooms were also large and clean, with showers that had great water pressure. There was plenty of seating in the house for meals. The boys stayed in the lower level bedroom with the bunk beds and had their own full bath and game room. The girls stayed in the loft which also had its own full bath. The house was very close to Blue Mountain - easy to find. The driveway was long enough to fit all our cars (we had 4). We had a beautiful view of Blue Mountain from the Living Room. The property manager was extremely helpful and pleasant - we had no issues during our stay. We totally would stay here again and highly recommend it.
The house was so comfortable and decorated so nicely. The view is amazing and we can't wait to rent again in the Spring!
What a very comfortable and nicely decorated home. The view is amazing and we can't wait to go back in the Spring!
