    THE PROPERTY

Master Bedroom: King Bed | Living Room: Full Sleeper Sofa | Additional Sleeping: Queen Mattress, Kid's Mattress, Crib

Step inside this rustically-themed, ground-floor apartment and switch into vacation mode as you walk under the exposed steel-beam ceiling and notice the mountain-house decorations. 'Liebstrasse Hideaway' is filled with different animal furs, exposed stone walls, and a variety of beautiful outdoor murals.

Start your day by enjoying a cup of coffee at the 4-person breakfast bar under the massive decorative log. Converse with your friends about which winery you want to visit first while gazing out of the floor-to-ceiling windows lining the living room.

On the days that you’re not out on the winery circuit, relax on the comfortable 3-person couch and watch your favorite show on the flat-screen cable TV with Roku streaming. Contact the owner 2 weeks in advance to book an on-site massage or take a walk on the multitude of walking trails around the property to look for wildlife!

Prepare a top-notch dinner with your loved ones in the fully equipped kitchen complete with a variety of cooking utensils, a 5-burner gas stovetop, a complimentary 6-pack of beer, and spotless wooden cabinetry. Uncork your favorite bottle of Willamette Valley wine, and walk out to the outdoor dining space to enjoy your culinary creations!

There is no better way to finish a night than by roasting marshmallows around the outdoor fire pit and looking up at the star-lit sky while everyone shares their favorite part of the day. When it's time to hit the sack, head into the cozy bedroom to slip into a deep sleep on the king bed.

    THE LOCATION

The apartment is situated on the ground floor of a lush 14-acre plot of land. Walk past the furnished patio, and you’ll find a series of hiking trails, walking paths, and scenic views of this forested area!

Head out to explore the local eateries surrounding Newberg on the night's that you don't want to cook. Subterra Restaurant is a quick 21-minute drive from the property and is a local favorite for contemporary American classics, such as blue crab truffle risotto and chicken roasted under a brick.

There are a variety of different wineries to choose from in Willamette Valley, but if you had to pick just a few, be sure to check out the closest ones to the property, including Ponzi Winery, Raptor Ridge Winery and Ruby Vineyard.

If you prefer hops to grapes, drive 18 minutes to reach the Two Kilts Brewing Company. This unique local brewery offers an indoor as well as an outdoor seating area with a multitude of delicious creations to sample!

You'll also want to check Willamette Valley's calendar to see if you're in town for one of the splendid wine or beer events, including July's Oregon Craft Beer Month featuring countless local breweries and tap houses with special pairings and deals and the International Pinot Noir Celebration in July, where wine enthusiasts can taste Oregon's most famous wine! Other events include Oregon Wine Country Thanksgiving, the Oregon Truffle Festival, and Oregon Wine Month during May, which is capped off with Memorial Day Weekend in Oregon Wine Country, when almost every vineyard in the valley opens up for special tours and barrel tastings.

Clean, kitchen well stocked. Scenic property

    Comment:

Owners of this property are extremely nice. Very enjoyable to talk to. As far as the property itself I believe there are few expectations when you rent thru VRBO-fast internet, choice of TV channels and a good bed. I didn't feel that any of these things could be rated high.

My husband and I were surprised to find such a gorgeous rental in the heart of wine country. The owner has put a lot of time and effort into making this space one of the most comfortable and well stocked with everything your might need for a short stay. The attention to detail in this modern, space was obvious. Tom is a gracious host and incredibly generous. We were surprised to find a well stocked kitchen and anything that you might need to prepare a meal. There is a hiking trail on the grounds that was magical like walking through an enchanted forest. The space is just like the pictures but even better when you get there. My husband and I had a wonderful time meeting the owner and his wife who are smart, knowledgeable, generous and very talented couple! We would like to Thank them for sharing this cozy space and hope to return in the near future. I would recommend this rental to anyone without hesitation. Thank you again for a wonderful experience and great memories!

When you arrive at 11:30 p.m. and are greeted with a heartfelt "Welcome to God's Country" you KNOW you are in a good place! Tom's attention to detail is unsurpassed. More food than we could possibly eat, including some incredible smoked salmon he made! We travelled with our 8 month old grandson and Tom had a high chair, a changing station set up, a comfy chair for him to be nursed in, and a high chair ready. Every amenity has been thoughtfully provided. This is a perfect location for morning walks, afternoon wineries and s'mores by the fire at night. We can hardly wait to go back. So charming! We never heard our "upstairs" owners, so don't worry about that! Tom and April know the meaning of hospitality.

Tom, the property owner, met me and gave me a tour of the place and he was great. The property shows just as pictured. It is super quiet and private. The sliding doors along the entire wall allow for great, relaxing views and easy access. It has all the things you would need to be comfortable and the kitchen too. It is an ideal location for wine enthusiasts. There has to be more than 150 wineries within a 50 mile radius, more than you could hope for in variety, and price. I will definitely return.
