I highly recommend this space to anyone traveling to the Asheville area with dogs - the fenced in yard is spacious, nicely landscaped and has comfortable patio furniture for the humans. The apartment was well furnished and very comfortable for the 5 of us. It was wonderful that everyone had their own bed (no pullout sofas!), the bedrooms are furnished with interesting antiques. The apartment kitchen and bathroom are newly renovated, kitchen includes Kuerig coffee maker, full oven and microwave if anyone feels like cooking, and a toaster oven. It all suited us perfectly.

Kathy the owner was responsive and accommodating. Rental was clean. Decor was nice and furniture beautiful, new and comfortable. The yard was beautiful, large and fenced in with a nice seating area and fire pit, for outside social time that is very pet friendly. There was only one thing I would offer constructive criticism on, there are some holes in the side of the yard next to the drive way. I twisted my ankle pretty bad the first day in one of them. My fault for not looking where I was stepping... but still, it is probably a good idea to fill them in. Overall, we were very satisfied with our accommodations and would absolutely stay here again!

This property is amazing! Absolutely close to everything you would want to do in Asheville, (downtown, hiking trails, breweries), but far enough away that you really feel like you are in the mountains. The backyard was an absolute paradise and our dogs loved exploring it! The host was so gracious, (she offered to let our daughter come down the road to meet her horses), and the accommodations were spacious, clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Generally speaking, I would not recommend this home to other people like me (young, professional, with high standards). At best, I would say it's below average. Entirely overpriced for what you get. Far from amenities that you want. The house itself is off a gravel road with many houses nearby. It was not in a condition where I was comfortable with staying so I walked in long enough to look around and make my decision to forego all the money I spent on the rental. The owner seems nice via the 3 text messages we exchanged and it seemed like the space was clean but overall not somewhere I would be able to stay. Also, I took a week to write this review because I wanted to take time and reflect before writing a thoughtful, accurate review.

Kathy was a generous host who met our every need when family came to visit for a big dinner. She treated us to her horses nearby which was a real treat! Her place was clean, spacious, and very nicely furnished. Beds were comfortable and we all had a marvelous time. Asheville is an easy drive but there are many eclectic eating establishments close by. We enjoyed hiking to a waterfall trio, disc golf, and Asheville night life and the horses! Oh, and don't forget the nearby brewery for a tour! Overall, we were very pleased!

The apartment (size of a house) was very nice. Had a great outdoor area to spend time with the family. The master bedroom was enormous and the king bed was perfect for my wife and me. Was really nicely furnished and had plenty of space for us and our 3 children. Was a few min drive to the grocery store and everything else we needed. Took about 10-15 mins to get to the beautiful waterfalls in the parks. We met the host, very nice women that made us feel welcome. If you need a lot of space, this is a nice place to stay.

Loved the set up of this basement home. Perfect for our 3 kids and dog. Equipt with everything we needed for a weekend away! Location is convenient to so much and price was right! I'm thankful they accepted animals for our dog's sake but did notice the living room couch had a definite pet odor! I was possibly bothered by it more because of my pregnancy nose and I understand that might be par for the course of a pet friendly place. Absolutely no other complaints to speak of though!!

? I wish I was told that it was a basement. There was a door at the top of stairs, that honestly freaked me out at first. Under the garage should be cleaned up as it is the entrance to where we stayed. It was very nice and clean inside, it did smell like a dog when we came in, we had to spray air freshener. I am not sure for the price if I would stay again.
