Perfectly peaceful cabin with more than enough amenities to make you feel at home. The cabin is very well maintained and clean upon arrival. Although there was only 2 of us there is plenty of room for 8, the cabin layout allows for privacy when needed and a great gathering space for the evenings. Our host, Kurt, was very responsive upon booking and has appointed the cabin well. We will be returning in the future and recommending this cabin to others.

Relax in comfort, peace and quiet.

GOOD WEATHER. SEVERAL DEER GRACED THE AREA. NO BEARS SIGHTED, BUT HAD BEEN REPORTED IN AREA. EVERYTHING IN HOUSE OPERATED WELL (BUT COULD NOT GET HOT WATER IN MASTER BEDROOM SINK); OTHER PLACES WERE FINE. HOUSE WELL EQUIPED AND COMFORTABLE. SHORT WALK TO GOLF COURSE, AND FISHING POND ACROSS THE ROAD. DISSAPPOINTED THAT LODGE RESTAURANT CLOSED; MOOSEHEAD BAR HAD VERY LIMITED FOOD MENU. IF TIME ALLOWS, WILL DO AGAIN.

A group of four stayed in the cabin last week while hunting in the area. We found the cabin to be in excellent condition when we arrived. It was well supplied with basic items that you normally do not have in a rental such as paper products, cooking goods, etc. We felt more like we were borrowing a friend's place rather than renting.

The local information provided was thorough and the instructions for all aspects of the cabin were accurate and easy to follow.

My only issue was that I didn't get to play the course, which looked to be very nice and challenging.

Hopefully we can make the trek back to this area in the future and this cabin will be the first thing I check into.

We stayed here off season, had some snow the first night. 3 adults and 3 teens with plenty of room. Nice wood fireplace for chillier nights. There is s pond right out front for fishing in season, plenty of places to walk. Lots of deer and a short walk brings you to a beautiful mountain range. If you are a golfer this would probably suit you as its part of a golf community. Make sure you bring all of your groceries with you as its a good half hour to a store for food-Walmart, Dollar Tree, etc..in Las Vegas. There is gas/convenience store about 15 minutes away with a small selection and it's pricey. Something to note-there are lots of small stair ways inside the cabin which is not a problem but good to know if you have any issues walking/handicapped, however there is a ramp in addition to stairs to get inside. Sights we saw during our stay were Fort Union, Pecos National Historic Park, went into a hot springs in Montezuma, and visited a ghost town. It was an enjoyable visit and the owners are very nice, easily accessible for any questions.

After years of staying at the Pendaries Lodge, we just couldnt take the flakiness and mismanagement that has been common at the resort the past two years. This year we decided to just rent a cabin in the area. This was a perfectly located cabin for our golf group. It is spacious with a nice grill on the deck and am awesome layout for evening cocktails after a couple rounds of golf. There are plenty of beds and a swamp cooler that worked great and hit the spot during the record breaking heat in the area. Simple booking and managed well; no shenanigans that can be common with vacation homes.

This is tough as there should be a very good rating beyond just a good rating. The only reason I am not rating this Excellent is due to the fact that Evolve-HomeAway sent me incorrect key code information and I had to bother the owner for the correct code for access. Fortunately Kurt answered his phone, otherwise not being able to get in would have been not good. Internet access worked well, which was important as we did not have good cell service. Prep on the cabin was good (recommend trash sacks in bathroom waste bins) but the kitchen could have been organized a bit better (regarding how things were placed, etc). However, I'm pretty sure this is an issue the owner can't control due to renters placing stuff wherever they wish. Fireplace worked great and there was a nice supply of wood ready along with fire starting material (excellent!). Bedding was good and the bbq grill was excellent. Great for four adults (or more depending on use of bunk beds) and great for children as long as they are able to handle multiple levels and stairs. We recommend the Turquoise trail hike and the directions on how to do it in the home book were excellent! If going for golf, May is a little too early for the Pendaries golf course as they have not had enough warm days for the greens to come in (exceptionally slow and bumpy). But the course is beautiful and the staff said that starting in mid-June they can get the greens up to par. It is playable in May but just not a good green-putting experience. All-in-all, a very good experience. We will come again.

Our Family, 4 adults and 2 children had a wonderful time. This home was very rustic and the scenery was beautiful. Close to the golf course for my husband, and fishing for my grandchildren. The home was set up just great, everyone had their own area. We could have had at least 2-3 more adults very comfortably. I really like the kitchen for myself. We could cook, use the grill or got to the Moose Head Lodge for dinner. The owner, Kurt was amazing he even drove up to fix our internet, can not be without that if you are on vacation and under 40.

Our three day golf outing at Pendaries Village in New Mexico was wonderful. The home we stayed in was fantastic, nestled into the pines and aspens over looking a trout lake with very close proximity to the golf course and club house. Everyone was extremely friendly and the hospitality was spot on. We thoroughly enjoyed the golf course to the tune of playing 72 holes from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning. When not golfing we were having a lot of fun at the Moose Head restaurant and lounge, fishing on the trout lake or just simply enjoying the comfort of the home. We highly recommend Pendaries Village and this property. We are already planning a late summer to early fall outing!!!!!
