The cabin was clean. Private Hot Tub was almost on neighbors front porch! Driveway was a nightmare! Smelled old and musty! Hot, only one ceiling fan in the whole house! No coffee filters provided! Bathroom floor needs repair! This is the 4th house I have rented in RNM this year and by far the worst! Not at all worth the money I paid!!!! Out of the 3 houses I looked at this was the most expensive because of the PRIVATE Hot Tub that we never used! BIG mistake! VERY DISAPPOINTED! I feel ripped off! Would never suggest this property to anyone!

We are sorry to hear your stay didn't meet your expectations. The homeowners have been renting the cabin since 2002 and have never received a previous complaint about the location of the hot tub. There is a house west of this one about 30 or 40 foot away and it is a vacation home from an out of state owner who is rarely there. The house has a crawl space and in that area when it is hot and humid there is a musty smell, and they do all they can to mitigate this by spraying chemicals. This property has consistently hosted satisfied guests over the years, and we look forward to this cabin continuing to do so! Best, the Evolve Team
The cabin was very clean and the area was very picturesque and full of deer. The manager was always prompt and couteous in assisting with information. I woild recommend to anyone. Someday we will return!

Merced, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We're glad you had a pleasant stay and appreciated this cabin's ideal location and the hot tub. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again soon! Best, The Evolve Team
We enjoyed our stay! The cabin is a nice little place to spend the evenings. It is quiet and peaceful. We had plenty of space for 5 plus our pup. The only issue we had was getting to the cabin initially, because of the closure of Main road. After we figured out how to get here it was perfect. We will most definitely be back!

The cabin was the perfect size for the three of us. Lovely view & enjoyed the morning visits from the local deer. Owner was very acccomodating when we had to change our travel arrangements.

We enjoyed our stay! Perfect location! The cabin is at the end of the street, nice and quiet with no traffic. The hot tub was great but it never got to the correct temperature. Very clean though! We would stay again!

The cabin was more then we expected! Was cozy and has this at home feel too. Deer roaming around and it was just so peaceful. Well stocked kitchen clean towels and comfy beds even extra pillows if we needed. We will be back!

We loved it, just the right size for 4, nice balcony and hot tub. Great location with lots of wildlife.

Canyon Ridge cabin is older "rustic" with no wifi & has a slight "musty" odor. Overall, it it very comfortable, has a nice deck to relax on. Hot tub was clean & relaxing. Easy access & quiet neighborhood. Parking is limited to a couple of smaller type vehicles.

Two teenagers and I stayed here over Spring Break. We loved watching the deer that came by each morning. The hot tub was a hit, especially for the teens, after skiing all day. The location was quiet yet close to all attractions. The beds were comfy. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals, albeit a small oven that over cooked. Just be sure to set it lower. It was nice having a fireplace. I wish there had been more firewood. We only had enough for one fire.
My husband and I just stayed here a few weeks ago for our belated honeymoon (it's been 3 years!) And it was perfect! The cabin was more than big enough-could easily fit a medium sized family. It immediately felt like home the moment we walked in, was completely stocked with everything we could ever need, comfortable living room/bedrooms, and the hot tub was already hot(perfect after a day of skiing!) Even better checking in and out was so incredibly easy! The only complaint we had was the animal odor inside the cabin. Regardless, I will definitely be coming back again soon!

Cabin was cozy. A little dusty when we arrived but the hot tub was heated and ready to use. A nice thing after a long drive. We went skiing at Ski Apache, drove down to Alamogordo to White Sands, horse back riding, Carlsbad Caverns, and Roswell. Great location to experience lots of different things.

This cabin was perfect for my girl friend and I to have a romantic weekend together. The hot tub was great and was very private and quiet. The kitchen was well equipped and clean. The back deck was very quiet and the bed was pretty comfy. The whole experience from the rental, to directions, and payment were very quick and easy. I would definitely recommend this cabin to friends and I would go back.....

Quick weekend getaway with our two kids in their 20's along with a son in law, girlfriend and a new grand baby. The cabin was nice and cozy! Great balcony for enjoying the mountains! Only downside was a little problem with the stove and an unappealing smell in the cabin when we got there! Hot tub was great and deer were everywhere!

This cabin was a great choice for my wife and me. The kitchen was well equipped and very clean. The bath was also very clean. We enjoyed the privacy on the back deck and the relative quiet. I would definitely come back here

The entire rental experience was very easy and organized from the very beginning! Once completing the online selection and payment process, I was forwarded confirmation emails and instructions for key pickup, check out, and directions. Upon arrival at the cabin, it was even better than I expected. The space was large, clean, fresh, and the hot tub was hot! I would not hesitate to use the same process the next time I travel! Thank you for making it so easy.

Secluded, yet close to town and grocery store, arrived on our first day to 10+ deer coming up and eating Cheetos out of our kids hands! Not sure if that is "nature friendly" but....
We have four kids, and all slept comfortably plus used couch in the living room. We cooked all of our meals in the kitchen, which was stocked well with pots and pans. Its an apartment size stove/oven, with one burner out, but we made do. We also couldn't get the heater to regulate, with temp getting too hot and we would turn it down and get cold. But again, we survived, and for the price during Spring Break, this was great for us! Hot tub was fabulous, clean and worked perfectly! Thank goodness, as our kids chose this cabin over a larger one without hot tub...

My wife and I drove down from Taos to spend a few days (over New Years) in Ruidoso. We were traveling with our pups, so options were somewhat limited.
This Canyon Ridge property worked out perfectly! It was warm, cozy without being cramped, and provided all the necessary amenities.
Parking was a little tricky, since we didn't have a 4wd vehicle and it was snowy/icy, but otherwise we had a great time.
