We loved staying at The Green Door! The interior design and art work are beautiful, and David was a fabulous host. We felt very welcomed, and we had everything we needed --from kitchen supplies and extra towels to coffee and bottled water. The location is very convenient to downtown Danville and Centre College. You can walk everywhere from here. We will definitely be back!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Historic house a block or two away from downtown Danville (maybe closer than that, really.) The beds are SUPER comfortable as are all of the sheets, towels, etc. Very clean, safe, etc.

We booked this because it was an inexpensive location that was close to Lexington and Louisville. The manager was always available via text and offered lots of good insight on things to do in the area. The only item of note is that the street outside was rather busy, especially in the morning. This did not detract from the stay and we enjoyed the apartment immensely.

The space to dine and to relax was more than we expected. The linens were super luxurious and beds very comfortable. Be prepared for one small bathroom. The place was very classy all around.

My sisters and I were highly satisfied with everything in our apartment. Very neat and clean spacious rooms. The owner was very friendly and always there if we had a question or concern. I would highly recommend this to anyone for a girls get away. Perfect for parents coming in for College graduation also. Also easy to locate and close to restaurants and other shopping. Really pleased with our visit!!!

Our group stay at, “The Green Door, was very nice. Everything was very clean and organized for our stay. The location is perfect to walk around Danville, and the home itself is very pretty. David was very nice and helpful!

David is an exceptionally friendly and responsive host! Loved the walkability to town. Best towels and bed linens, pillows of anywhere I’ve ever stayed! Thank you for attention to that detail.

The Green Door is a lovely and spacious apartment. Every possible traveler’s need has been anticipated. Lovely crisp bed linens, generous bath towels, fully stocked kitchen. I could go on and on but truly in a nutshell it is akin to staying with a gracious family friend. David is the ultimate innkeeper! We are already anticipating another wonderful stay in March.

This place is a true gem! The home is BEAUTIFULLY decorated, charming, and comfortable. Our host made us feel right at home and was very communicative. I would highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to enjoy the historic town of Danville or even to those, like us, exploring the Bourbon Trail!

I had a great stay at The Green Door. The property was very clean, provided everything I could need with some unexpected extras. The decor was beautiful and very comfortable. The owner, David, was so helpful and ensured I had everything I needed. I hope this to be a home away from home when I visit Danville!

We recently spent five days at The Green Door which is located on one of Danville's loveliest streets with other large beautiful homes. The living room, dining room and three bedrooms are furnished with very comfortable eighteenth century reproduction furniture. The kitchen is well stocked. Our dog really enjoyed the fenced in back yard. The house is located conveniently to Centre College and the downtown.
