    Wonderful getsway

We absolutely loved how secluded our cabin was. It was cozy, not far from delicious food for dinner, and the hot tub and fire pit was our favorite amenity. If you are looking for a quiet secluded place to get away this is the place to go. Our puppy loved it too. It felt like home!

What a delightful cabin. It was just thr right size for my husband, me and our two dogs. It was peaceful, nicely furnished and off the beaten track. Yet it was close to the Red River Gorge ?? We highly recommend the sky bridge trail, dogs and all. Plus Miguel?s Pizza is outstanding.

This cabin was wonderful, great kitchen, comfortable beds, nice couches. However when we turned on the heat in the evening the whole cabin was filled with a cat urine odor. The staff responded immediately even though it was almost 8pm. They offered us an option of 2 cabins. They weren't as nice as the one we paid for but at least they didn't smell like cat pee.

We had a wonderful and truly memorable long weekend at The Woodsman cabin. It was so amazing for our family to have this experience together (including our dog)! The secluded location made it feel like our very own mountainside retreat. Hiking at Natural Bridge and Red River Gorge was just a short drive away. Can't wait to plan a return trip!

This rental was perfect for our group of 4 (and pets). Cozy, clean and well stocked! The kitchen had lots of pots and pans needed for cooking?but bring your spices and such. It was a chilly and rainy weekend but we still had a great time together with the fireplace on, hanging in the hot tub in the evening and exploring the local crags during the day.Only notes are that the beds did feel much more like a full than true queens and it would have been nice to have a few more towels (a set for hot tub and a set for the shower).Would happily come back and visit again though!

My husband and I rented the Woodsman for a weekend in the fall to celebrate our first anniversary. The cabin was perfect! It was quiet and in a remote area, and the leaves were changing so everything looked beautiful. The cabin was cozy and was a great home away from home. We had such a wonderful stay and would love to go back!

Beautiful cabin, beautiful scenery. Super comfy bed and clean hot tub. Location is perfect for just relaxing, hiking, ziplining, cave tours and sight seeing. Would def stay again!!. This isn't a negative, but hiker's tip- Stick to the dirt path trails in the Gorge and at Natural Bridge Park vs the cabin trails in summer months. Lots of ticks in June!
