No need to stay anywhere else!

Absolutely love this place! If you like privacy, this is where you want to be. If you like to watch animals and enjoy God's creations of nature, rent this place. It is located in the middle of everything with only a short drive to whatever you want. Not once did we need to use the 4 wheel drive for the whole area. I'm sure winter would be different however.

Woke up the first morning the the house was literally surrounded by a herd of deer. Every window we looked out of that morning was deer. Saw moose in the meadow behind the house on numerous occasions. The house has everything you need. The wifi was better and faster than I have at my office and my home. Never had a problem with it either. Total comfort in this home and clean. We hope to return for a stay again within the next year. What a beautiful home and location! Thank you so much!

We had just an absolute blast and a perfect stay at Nomad Haus! This place is everything you could ever want in a vacation home, and then some...

It's very easy to get to, the design and layout of the home is thoughtful and executed exquisitely and it has all the amenities you could ever need. It's super cozy, quiet, has extremely comfortable beds/furniture, a great deck for hanging out to take in the lovely scenery and excellent dark skies for stargazing. If you're lucky like we were, you may even have a moose or two, hanging out back grazing! There's also a beautiful 1.5 mile loop trail (Pika Trail Trailhead) just a short 10 minute drive away. The owners are incredibly accommodating and we had zero issues during our stay.

We will absolutely be booking Nomad Haus again and I am grateful to Tracy and Javier for opening their vacation home to us (and you will be too)!

Much needed getaway! Everything about this booking/place was awesome. Exactly as described, easy to find, great communications, awesome accommodations, great view. Absolutely would book again! We have T-Mobile and were able to use our phones and had no problems with internet connection. Thank you SO much for sharing your home with us.

Absolutely fantastic home

We have been using this type of home rentals for decades. We have stayed in dozens of homes all over the USA, Hawaii, and Caribbean. This home was by far the most pristine and well equipped that we have ever seen. There is literally everything you will need in the property. It is very very quiet here and is very close to all of the Jeep trails which is why we chose this location. The cabin sits high up in the mountains almost at treeline. Please note the cabin sits at 11,000 ft elevation and the air is quite thin up there. But, during the 4th of July week the temperature ranged from 40-60*F, that's quite nice and far different from TX. Overall this home is top notch and clearly in 1st place in our ranking. You won't be disappointed.

Has everything you need to escape the city. Spent Christmas Eve and day there. Saw several female moose nearby with a male coming right in the property for Christmas morning..Breckinridge is a 45 min drive and amazing views.You 100% need a AWD or 4x4 in the winter to make the last turn. Completely recommend.
