This place was amazing!! We learned a lot from Mike and his wife Tina was great and prompt with anything we needed. Our fur babies had the time of their lives and didn't wanna leave. Would love to go back there again in the future! Even our friend that stayed with us had an amazing time. We didn't get to enjoy the Colorado river due to the high speed of it but it was a breathtaking the view and calmness of just being there.

    Terrific Property

The time on the property was terrific. The scenery was absolutely beautiful. With the pond right out front, the Colorado River in back, and surrounded by mountains made for one of the most scenic properties we have been at.The house was perfect for the 8 of us. The open floor plan allowed us to socialize together as we prepared meals and the large table allowed us to all eat at the same table for meals. The house was perfectly centralized to visit the wineries in Palisade and the hot springs in Glenwood Springs.

We had an absolute wonderful stay at the ranch. From the moment you enter the property, you realize you made the right decision in booking this property. You have 360 degrees of breath taking views. The house itself was gorgeous as well. It had everything our group of 10 needed. The open floor plan was great for visiting with one another. Even with 10 people we did not feel cramped at all. Tina the owner made us feel very welcome and took care of all of our needs. She reached out to us before we arrived and was there to answer any questions that we had. I would definitely recommend this house for anyone who wants to enjoy the great outdoors and all the recreational activities that Colorado has to offer. We will be rebooking this great house in the future for sure.

We had an amazing stay in this warm and comfortable home set in a stunning location. Given the description we were not surprised with the beautiful and well stocked home but the location is so special - a once in a lifetime find for our group. Tina was so accommodating and responded quickly to all our questions. Her welcoming communication matched the warmth of the home. We expected during our 3 day stay that we would want to head out to the wineries or go out for a meal but we simply didn't want to leave the property. The only time 4 of us left was to play the stunning Battlement Mesa golf course about 10 minutes away. Probably the best greens we have seem and such a great value ($30 twilight rate) if you go 4 pm or later. Make sure you bring enough food for your stay as you will not want to leave the property! If you forget something there is a grocery store about 10 minutes away. We certainly hope we get a chance to visit again!

Fantastic Cabin on the Colorado River

Reviewed by: What a week! on

We had a family reunion and were at the cabin for a week. The cabin is a perfect spot for a quiet secluded "get away from it all" vacation. The house is well equipped. Fantastic well equipped kitchen, the theater room is great. We enjoyed sitting around the property and watching the river, the lake, etc. We spent the week Kayaking, paddle boarding on the lake. We tried fishing but we got stumped by the fish. One of the locals told us the hot summer had an impact on the fish population. We highly recommend doing a river float with Top Adventures. They are open Fri-Sun. We went two days in a row. Word of caution, the river does not LOOK fast but it IS. If you decide to swim in it, wear a life vest! We hope to be able to return

    We loved our stay!

Amazing home surrounded by breath taking scenery. It?s a private, peaceful retreat. We enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding in pond and floating down the Colorado river. Watching movies on the giant projector screen with surround sound made for spectacular viewing experience. We?re already looking forward to our next visit!

    Wonderful Getaway

    Reviewed by: JW on

We live in Denver and wanted to "get away from it all" for a short weekend trip. We wanted a place where the dogs could run and we could simply relax.

    Tina's property did not disappoint!

The home is spacious as well as the property. The kitchen was perfect to prepare all our meals. In the evening, we enjoyed the comfort and watching a movie on the big screen.

The humm of the Colorado River was relaxing to listen to and fun to watch the rafters and tubers float down.
We spent most of our time sitting outside, enjoying nature, watching sunsets, and our dogs could not have been happier to be out there with us.
The pond is a nice touch with the paddle boards (our first time trying).
