Our Black Canyon winter stay
3/5 Our property manager was good at start but less responsive toward end of stay. Our method for getting mail and deliveries had to go thru manager not house delivery . Thus we didn’t like to get mail and packages thru third party. Also furniture average and couch springs broken down.

We're sorry to hear that you did not have the five-star experience we endeavor to provide our guests. We went through great lengths to accommodate your every request.
- We value the condition of the home and this is the first time we are hearing about any concerns with the couch. It was recently replaced and we ensure to inspect the couch and could not find any broken springs as reported.
- As the home is a vacation rental, it is not standard to have mail delivered to the guest. We well informed you from the beginning that the mail service is rural and it is delivered to a locked box that is half a mile away from the home. As a courtesy, we gave you an address to use and your mail would be sent to you by the Property Manager. In addition, we informed you several times to not use the homeowner's address for any deliveries as the homeowner is the only person who has access to the box and this can cause a delay in your mail. Due to this matter, you had to use a third party.
We truly go above and beyond, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays at our home.Very good stay!
5/5 4 of us stayed 2 weeks. All rooms were clean, well stocked and floors even passed the “barefoot” test (rare for rentals). Host Maria was quick to respond and helpful. Good views being up on the hill. Great location away from the high-traffic as you near PHX; but there’s always driving to reach the various hiking trails. Would stay again.
