We stayed here for three nights with our family and another. Total of 7 adults and 3 children. This cabin was spacious enough for everyone to sleep comfortably. The cabin offered everything we needed from cleaning bedding with extra blankets/sheets, dishes, silverware, pots/pans, outdoor grill with charcoal, towels, and more. They even had a children's play kitchen set in the spacious downstairs bedroom. The inside is very clean and well maintained. This is a place that you can tell corners were not cut when building. The outside is very pretty and peaceful...also very well maintained/landscaped. I would recommend this cabin to those looking for a peaceful weekend retreat...we have young children and they stayed entertained even tough there is no TV...it was good to be able to do things with them that didn't involve today's technology.

we arrived after dark and were greeted by Luke who gave us a quick review of property and amenities. We were told we were the only guests on the property. In the morning we were greeted with the sounds of birds and a recurring Cardinal at the back door. The cabin is beautiful and well maintained. We stayed the end on January but it was pleasant enough to be able to explore and take a small hike on paths around the property and along the creek. Visiting during the summer may be a bit busier as it seems they may host church camps. This was a relaxing and peaceful weekend. There is no TV and cell service was sparse (we walked on other side of pond and got service). Kitchen is fully stocked with what we needed but coffee maker was a little slow brewing. We would return and stay here again.

My son in law wanted to surprise his wife with a girls getaway so he asked me to help out and find a place to stay. I knew she would prefer privacy so I started looking for houses or cabin near Hermann. This cabin is in New Haven a few miles off highway 100 and about 20 minutes from Hermann. Luke met us at the cabin and provided us with a lot of information about the area and things to do. He was very informative and friendly. Told us if we had a problem with the cabin call him. He was usually at the property. The cabin itself was very nice. There were 3 of us and the cabin had plenty of space. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook. If you have ATT you can get wifi on your phone and use it to text. No wifi tho for laptops. No tv, but we were looking for quiet. Beautiful grounds too. We highly recommend staying here. We plan on going back.

The cabin was all we had hoped, it was new, clean, up-to-date, and well stocked with the necessities for a wonderful weekend. While there we explored the beautiful grounds (it snowed TWICE during our stay), spent time in the rec room, roasted marshmallows at the fire pit, and just hung out. There wasn't a tv so we brought our own and watched movies, and played games. We shopped and ate in nearby Hermann and had a great time. If worked out wonderful for our family of 7. Comfy and cozy would describe this place, we highly recommend to any family who wants to make memories and relax! Hope to go back!

My daughter is 11 and our friend we took with us is 16. They equally enjoyed the weekend. If you are in Washington, I suggest the Blue Duck. Food was fantastic. They cabin was very nice. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would come back with the kids next time! The pool is pretty big. They have a big rainbow playset. And there's a small little Lake to go canoeing in. It was a beautiful property we definitely enjoyed ourselves. There was a couple minor things that got overlooked when cleaned. The refrigerator still had a lot of half-eaten food in it and leaves from the people before us. Toothpaste on the wall in the bathroom and one of the fold-out beds is held together with a dog leash. We didn't need the pull out bed so that didn't bother me . But it might be an inconvenience for anybody that needs to use it . And they have a few basic things like seasoning and a few random grocery items. Despite the couple very minor things we really did enjoy our time and love the cabin we will definitely be back. And Luke was very friendly and easy to work with! If you book I know you'll enjoy your stay!

We stayed at the cabin for the weekend and we were extremely impressed with how clean the house was and how nice it was. We had an issue with the air conditioning and somebody was sent out that day to resolve the issue. However, we were told there would be a tv and WiFi in the cabin so we could stream movies, there wasn’t even a tv IN the cabin period. Not a big deal as we had brought games. The back glass door was shattered and every time we would walk in or out shards of glass would fall on to the ground, the Murphy bed frame was broken and the door was held shut by a dog leash. When we tried closing the bed and rigging it back the way we had found it, it fell and smacked one of my friends on top of the head nearly knocking her out and we were advised to just “leave the bed out so nobody else got hurt.” I’m guessing the hole in the front of the bed was from a similar accident. The canoeing area is a very small fountain pond (we think) it says to ask for assistance but we were literally the only people at the camp ground and nobody was there to assist. The pool was extremely dirty and smelled of boiled eggs. But overall the cabin itself was very nice.

This was our first time using HomeAway, so naturally we were a bit hesitant. The cabin got over booked and so Luke had us stay at a different location, upon arriving at the location Luke met us there and showed us where everything was, told us everything there was to do in the area, and gave us a key. We couldn't have been happier! Luke took fantastic care of us! There was literally everything we needed in the house from pots and pans to pancake mix in the pantry, playing cards, board games, extra towels, pillows, extra blankets, lawn chairs, a grill, I am serious there wasn't one thing missing from this home. The location was perfect, it was quiet, and close to everything we wanted to go see, we in fact went to New Haven to see the Distillery and the glass blowing and then came home for lunch and then went back to Hermann for wine tastings, it is all within a 15 minute drive. We had a garage to put our vehicle in if the weather got bad.... which it did so we were pretty happy to have that option. Luke is the rental manager for this house, and several others from my understanding, keep him around because he did a fantastic job from the moment we clicked submit on the website he was perfect, he was prompt in letting us know that he got our reservation, and asked if there was anything we needed from him other than directions. We couldn't be happier.

We were having so much fun, that we couldn't force ourselves to leave..so we stayed an extra night. I took my daughter and 4 grandkids (ages 4,6,8 and 12) to kick off a fun summer. It was better than we hoped for... this is the perfect place for kids and teens..a relaxing place for adults. The grounds and cabin are immaculate. The ponds are perfect sizes for kids to fish, canoe, and kayak. The older kids were able to canoe and kayak alone, without me worrying (even though it was their first time). We brought our own life jackets, although many were available. I recommend bringing your own if you have smaller kids, for a good fit. the playground is close enough to the house that even the young kids can play there while we sat outside on the patio. They loved the feeling of independence..lol. It was a place where I could continue to say, "yes" to all of the things the kids wanted to do ...about every 10 minutes for my ADD grandson! The pool is larger than expected and open all day and night and has a diving board. It is exceptionally clean. The cabin is prettier than its pics. Everything is brand new and we loved the "woodsy decor". Luke and his brother built the cabin and it is awesome...love the log beds...very comfy. EVERYTHING is provided for the kitchen..including cleaning supplies and soaps. Large closet spaces throughout for storage. There are some games and puzzles in a closet that the kids loved. Although it was very hot while we were there, one night it cooled enough for a bonfire just outside the house...the logs and rock were in place when we got there. Pool, basketball courts, baseball fields, sand vollyeball, fishing, canoing, and kayaking ...all within easy walking distance. We took a trip into Hermann, Mo and was delighted at the character of the town. Got huge icecreams at a local shop, and did some antique shopping. Luke was a great host and made sure that everything was perfect. We highly recommend this place for people of all ages, but especially for kids and teens. There was a teen youth group on site while we were there and they were having a ball!

The cabin itself was great! Wi-fi is not available at all from the cabin & my USCellular mobile data didn't really work at the cabin either. Good because you got to have quality family time without all the electronics, but bad because you couldn't use internet to plan your adventures away from the cabin. I would suggest taking some family games you like to play. I loved being out in the country. Fishing is available if you bring your own pole. Canoeing is super close & everthing you need is supplied. The trails were great! Mowed & well maintained. The pool was wonderful & just a short walk away (3 ft. - 10 ft. with a diving board). There are several places to have a campfire including one just out the back door & also a grill available with charcoal. I would definitely go back here & recommend it as a place to stay when visiting the Saint Louis area. Would have given it 5 stars, but the game room, weight room, & a few other things needed a little TLC. For example there was a pool table in the game room but the only ping pong ball we could find was cracked in half. Foos ball however was fun. Great place to stay!

Beautiful cabin in a private setting

My friend and I had a girl's night at the cabin and found it beautiful, exceptionally clean and well stocked. Lots of trails to walk and lakes/ponds to fish or swim in. Fire-pit and grill in the back. We were the only people in the Christian camp and got spooked by the sound of an animal in the woods... so next time we'll bring our husbands!
