• A Fantastic Stay at Musky Lodge

  This is the 3rd time a group of friends and I have stayed at the Musky Lodge, and we love it here. Plenty of beds, lots of areas to gather and also plenty of areas for quiet privacy. Great space to play multiple board games at once. And not too far of a drive from the Twin Cities.

  The owners have always been communicative and helpful when needed (which has been very rare in these three years. They make things very easy and clear up front).

  Isle itself is also a cute town to visit.

  A gorgeous house, with all the amenities you could want and plenty of room for our crew of 24! The weather outside was chilly, but we found plenty to keep us busy. Everybody loved it - we hope to be back again!

• Labor Day Stay

  We loved our time at the Musky Lodge. The space was perfect for our large group of 27! Mornings in the kitchen all hanging out that led to afternoons in the beautiful yard. We enjoyed yard games, swimming, boating, and evening fires. The bar area which we termed ‘Musky Lounge’ was another favorite for nights time games and laughs. It was a beautiful stay at a beautifu home. We hope to be back next year!

• Open, comfortable lodge in a beautiful setting

  Musky lodge worked out great for our large, extended family. The common areas are big and spread out so even with up to 25 people in the house, it never felt crowded. The house is split with 5 bedrooms upstairs and 5 downstairs (if you include the guest suite). The upstairs is a little short on bathrooms as there are only 2 with one of those being en-suite. So that left 1 bath to be shared by 4 bedrooms and anyone sleeping in the loft. Probably not a problem with kids but we had all adults so some ended up sharing the showers downstairs.

  We loved the location! Beautiful views, good outdoor seating and we had a great time by the fire pit at night. Even when it rained, the large windows and indoor fireplaces allowed us to enjoy the beauty outside while staying warm and comfortable.

  We used Dan’s Catering for dinner. Food was great and so much easier than trying to cook for a crowd. Overall, loved our stay!

• We spoiled ourselves!

  Although extremely expensive for our group of 12; we definitely got and totally enjoyed what we paid for. We had great weather; we brought two fishing boats which were convenient to put in/take out at the nearby campground. Convenient hookup to the property's new dock with protection from the big lake. We brought floaties and enjoyed floating by the property's 2 dock areas; water was very clean. The outside grounds: grilling area, patio areas, and lawn were fabulous and so well taken care of.

  Inside is huge and clean. Enjoyed the sauna, the game room, and the kitchen; loved all the refrigerators! As advertised, lots of bedrooms/sleeping areas. - everything was top notch!! Easy check-in. Communication with owner via email was prompt. The cleaning lady was there by the 10am checkout time so you better not doddle! :) If you can swing it, I highly recommend a stay at the Musky Lodge. Thank you!!!
