    Beautiful property, great location!

Stayed two nights in this newly renovated, beautiful cabin! Very comfortable and the layout worked great for us. Loved the ranch and the views from the cabin overlooking the animals on the property! The owners are more than accommodating and very responsive. Mike met us at the barn and gave us a tour of the ranch. This was definitely one of the highlights of our girl's weekend trip! We met the goats (held a baby goat!), llamas and alpacas! Cattle and horses are also on the property. The ranch is close to everything that we needed. Will absolutely be back!! Thank you for a wonderful time!!

We did a couples wine weekend and stayed at the ridenour ranch, we had such a lovely time. The cabin was newly renovated, clean, spacious, and so charming. The property owner showed us the grounds and the animals, he was such a great host. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and we can't wait to come back.

The property was fantastic. We also enjoyed the tour the owners gave us of the farm. If you are going to tour the Yadkin Valley wineries for multiple days this is the place to stay.

My husband and I absolutely adored Mike and Susie's property. They welcomed us the first morning and gave up a tour of the farm. We learned all about alpacas. Hung out with the goats, lamas, ducks and kitties. We also got to visit with the 3 week old pony. He was so cute. From the gorgeous sunrises on the porch to our evenings spent by the fire with wine. We truly enjoyed our weekend there and look forward to our next.

Only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer! Cabin has been lovingly restored and has every amenity you could possibly need. Setting is peaceful and beautiful, a hidden valley in the cool foothills. Incredibly convenient to the area wineries. Our hosts were considerate of our privacy but available to answer questions or offer suggestions of local attractions. And we could have happily just rocked on the porch and watched the animals for the length of our stay. We are already discussing dates for our next visit!

We came for a weekend away and to enjoy the wineries in the area. The cabin is beautiful and has everything we needed for our stay. The owners were great and gave us a tour of the property and let me hold a baby alpaca. Location was great with several wineries within a 15 minute drive and secluded enough to relax and enjoy the country setting. We will definitely be back.

What a fantastic property! The ranch is beautiful and so peaceful and quiet. The renovated 1850s cabin is cozy and the porch (where we spent most of our time) is so inviting. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway....this is it. Close to Elkin, close to Stone Mountain and many wineries. Mike and Sue, the owners, are welcoming and accommodating. We enjoyed our tour of the ranch and hanging with the alpacas, llamas, goats, ducks and kitties. We are already planning our next trip!
