  The cabin was perfect for our get away weekend. Mark gave us a call on Friday to ensure everything was all set and talk us through the alarm. The cabin is just as pictured, kitchen was perfect for our needs and the hot tub was wonderful for soaking! Private location, the fireplace was perfect while watching the snow fall.

  Cottage was exceptional clean. Just as pictured. Very comfortable for two couples. Only complaint was the air conditioner is a little noisy in one bedroom. Didn’t bother my husband but I wore ear plugs. Convenient location for hiking in Hocking Hills State park. Would stay again.

  Had a good time. Cabin was very nice but felt the owners could offer a little more. I've never done a home rental before as I typically stay in resorts, hotels and cruise ships. I felt that a home should offer at least as much as a hotel would and even more. I left them a list of suggestions that I will share here as well. they should offer a hairdryer, toiletries such as shampoo/conditioner as I never pack that stuff knowing it will be at my resort/cruise ship and is so nice to not have to think about that kind of stuff. they should offer coffee, tissues -again, things even a Days Inn would offer. they had 2 pages of rules, yet did not have adequate cleaning supplies to live up to their expectations. they wanted us to do some cleaning when they should have the cleaning crew do it-strip bedding/towels etc. they need safety lighting on the wooden deck steps in the back as it is very dark at night. check in/out times were late and early which cut into your time there. they have a fire pit but no wood. I think if they are going to bother with the fire pit then they should offer one pack of wood for free then the clients can buy additional wood. it would just be nice if you are going to offer it. they asked us to bring in their garbage can from the road, which we didn't because I don't feel that is my job. I put the trash bag on the front porch so they could dispose of it. since I’m used to room service each day, they should have plenty of additional things like paper towels, toilet paper in the even you would need it but they did not. just not what I expected. maybe I should just stick with resorts and hotels!

  - We are happy to hear you had a good time. As is standard for vacation rentals, we provide a starter supply of paper essentials for guests’ convenience. We do provide coffee, sugar, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher pods, garbage bags, hand soap, towels, bed linens, a broom, and a multipurpose cleaner.
  
  - Guests are asked to complete a few small tasks, like removing their trash, stripping the bed, and gathering linens as part of checkout. The cleaning fee goes to a professional service that sanitizes and prepares the home including the hot tub. We are open to suggestions and agree that stripping the beds could surely be left for the cleaners.
  
  - While the check-in time for this vacation home follows the hospitality industry standard, the local property manager is always happy to accommodate an early check-in if possible. In this case, we understand an early check-in was granted on the day of your arrival but you checked in past the original check-in time.
  
  - One of the significant benefits of vacation rentals is the opportunity to have a more personalized and home-like environment. Unlike hotels, our rentals offer spacious accommodations with private bedrooms, fully equipped kitchens, and often other amenities like private pools or outdoor spaces. This creates a sense of privacy and comfort that you might not find in a typical hotel room. Staying in a vacation rental allows you to immerse yourself in the local community and experience the destination like a local resident. You can explore neighborhood restaurants, local attractions, and hidden gems that may not be as readily accessible in a hotel's tourist-centric areas.
