  I was very displeased with our stay.

  The home was obviously dated and there were more amenities in the home broken than functioning. All broken had notes beside them stating the part was ordered but the note had been there so long that the ink was fading. Both couches were broken/ poor condition that you could not even get comfortable while sitting to watch the television.

  There's so much more I could say but I will leave this. To the property owners, this property has so much potential. The view is beautiful but the property as a whole needs some money and time invested back into it.

• Great wildlife watching but off the beaten path a bit

  The house was spacious with great outdoor access and views- the interior was dated and had a good supply of kitchenware but no toiletries- I would have made the 10 minute drive to the closest dollar store to pick up soap and shampoo had I known there was none in the bathroom- some utensils were put away not properly washed and one of the main recliner chairs was broken

  We enjoyed our stay. Beautiful views on Lake Catherine in a quiet, pretty neighborhood. Easy communication with property management, a nice getaway for family.

• Pictures are out of date, information not correct

  The pictures of the property both inside and out are not current. The living room is not set up the way it shows, the deck is very old and beginning to fall apart. The deck on the water is unsafe with the railing almost falling apart and very loose. In one area, you feel like you'e about to fall through. It states is has WiFi; however, it's only 1mbps and is virtually unusable. We had to use the hotspots on our phone. The bedroom tv was missing the remote and we were told after getting there that the previous renter stole it but it was not replaced therefore the tv was useless. One bedroom, it has lights on the wall but they are unplugged and just hanging. The grill is a very old charcoal grill therefore we didn't use.

  Christopher, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  -We're sorry that you feel the house was misrepresented by the pictures on our listing. The exterior of the house is as shown in the pictures and the only difference in the interior is the couch in the living room has been shifted.
  -The deck on the lake is fairly old and it is scheduled for an upgrade but we believe it is currently quite safe. Though, we appreciate you bringing this to our attention; all concerns you have mentioned about the deck will be addressed.
  -We're sorry if you didn't find our internet speeds to be sufficient for your needs. We have not received complaints about it in the past but we will be considering your feedback moving forward.
  -The TV remote you mentioned has since been replaced; we apologize for this inconvenience.
  -The decorative lamps in the bedroom may have been unplugged during cleaning; they work as long as you plug them back into an outlet.
