This property was so incredible. The house is beautiful, well equipt, comfortable and clean. This is the only VRBO I have rented that had everything I needed in the kitchen, bathrooms, etc. The property is stunning, the location is perfect. I can't wait to stay here again!

Our family of 8 gathered from all over the US to celebrate the holidays. The setting was picturesque, the house was unique and cozy, and the property manager was responsive and kind. If you are looking for a relaxing up north get away in a great location - our family highly recommends the Potato House!
It’s a difficult property for older people because of the stairs. It is bucolic setting with horses grazing. Charming decor.

This was our first experience renting a home and using Evolve as the agency.
I must say we made the perfect choice!
Our stay at the Potato House was just what our family needed to get away. The home has been renovated from an actual antique barn used to store potatoes used to make chips. This made the stay additionally special.
The home is in a picturesque setting with a working horse farm onsite. The home’s exterior is beautiful with plenty of room to walk around or lounge outside by a wonderful fire pit. There are also two ski chairs that have been converted into a place to lounge and our grandchildren loved sitting on them pretending they were skiing. As an additional bonus we saw two baby raccoons in a tree near the front porch!
Entering into the home you are greeted by an array of interior designs from around the world. There’s something special in every area to admire.
The kitchen had every item we needed plus additional items for our in home meals we prepared.
The home was immaculately clean and had all the supplies to make us feel at home.
We have stayed many places over the years and left saying this may be one of the top places we have stayed. Between the home and all the activities that were within a short drive. We hope to return, and enjoy a different season such as the autumn.
A few must sees while visiting include;
1. Pond Hill
2. Thorn Wild Nature Preserve
3. Tunnel of trees
4. Down town Harbor Springs
5. Zorn Beach
6. Downtown Boyne City
7. Downtown Charlevoix
Just to name a few…
All within a comfortable drive to return back to the home and relax.
They had cable tv but our family enjoyed the time away from the media and internet.
The owners contacted us prior to arriving and during our stay to ensure we had everything we needed.
