If I could give this property 10 stars I would!!! This was the perfect little getaway for my husband and I before he heads out on deployment. We wanted to do the train ride along the Tuckasegee River and see the Biltmore. This place was perfect. The hot tub was awesome and listening to the river was soothing. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!! Thanks for a great experience!!

    Excellent Riverside Stay

    Reviewed by: Nick V. on

This property is awesome. Phenomenal location, close to downtown Bryson city and Cherokee while still be somewhat secluded. It is part of a group of 12 cabins but the back is directly facing the river for decent privacy. The cabin has been redone recently and if you’re looking for “glabinning” experience, this is it. Flat screen tv, hot tub, king bed, new appliances; it has it all. Would 100% stay again. Super easy to find, and incredibly easy checkin process. Checkout process is also a snap. The only thing I wish we had were slightly better pans for cooking as we weren’t expert chefs and struggled to control the heat with the steel pans provided. But that’s so minor and can easily be updated. Doesn’t change the fact I had an awesome stay.

Easy online reservation and simple access to cabin. Cabin was clean and beautiful. One small issue with inadequate number of washcloths but guess contact resolved the issue quickly. My only recommendation is steps to get in and out of hot tub. Other than that I would not change a thing.

    Little cabin on the Tuckasegee

    Reviewed by: Donald P. on

We really enjoyed our stay at the little cabin on the Tuckasegee! The process for renting the cabin for checking in checking out we're very easy. The location was near the wonderful little town of Bryson City North Carolina. We are very close to Cherokee North Carolina and all the attractions. We decided to take the train ride through the Nantahala Gorge which ended up being just an amazing day of Vistas and beautiful scenery along the rails. We also did some fly fishing and visited numerous waterfalls. We set one day aside to do some tubing on the Deep Creek. We highly recommend the little cabin on the Tuckasegee.

We throughly enjoyed ourselves at The Farm House. It was everything we expected it to be from the layout to the deck and especially the hot tub. We liked be able to go to many places to fish, dine and even play the slots with Harrah’s being so close. We would definitely be back, thank you for letting us celebrate our 20yr anniversary there!
