    Nice enough cabin

    Reviewed by: Robyn C. on

The cabin was nice and pics online were accurate. My family had a good time. Could have been cleaner, would be the only negative thing I would mention. There was dirt in corners and going down the stairs and some things could have used wiping down. There were plenty of towels and linens, which we loved. During the check in process we got a bit nervous as we didn't receive the keyless check in code at all during the 48hrs before our arrival like stated in all the emails. So after emailing and calling the property manager a few times we did get the code on our drive there. With all the potential cabins in Gatlinburg, I will probably choose to try a different one on our next trip.

    Great location!

    Reviewed by: Jenny R. on

The location of the cabin was wonderful. It was a quick ride to downtown Gatlinburg. The online listing states that it sleeps 11, which indeed it does. However, there were no blankets for all of the beds. The bunks in the basement only had sheets on them. I had to go to Walgreens and purchase throws the second day so that everyone had a blanket. Parking is very tight and difficult to turn around to head down the hill. Shower curtain in basement shower does not keep water in and we were constantly wiping up water to keep the floor from getting ruined. Wood floors are beautiful but our feet were black from walking on them. Not sure if it is the dye from the floor or if they were dirty.

Jenny, the homeowner would like to share the following message:

"My apologies for the trouble. We purchased 6 new blankets in October. Four of the blankets are on the bottom shelf of the cabinet in the train room."

    Grandchildren getaway

    Reviewed by: Ken B. on

The property is an all you may need kind of cabin. The kitchen has all the pots and pans, dishes, silverware and small wares you may need. Having an abundant of towels was amazing. The grandchildren loved the game room loft. While sitting on the deck and listening to the babbling brook was so relaxing. If their was one improvement to be made I think the cleanliness could be addressed and cleaning the windows would be a big plus. . The location was great, right down the road from the trolley pick up. Thank you for sharing your cabin with our family.

    Chalet Village

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Great layout for a large group, especially with kids. The cabin is nice but fits and finishes were lacking. The creek at the back of the property was very relaxing. We enjoyed the pool at the clubhouse. Bedrooms were nice. We enjoyed having the four bunks for the kids. There was dog hair on the couch and one of the beds which was a bit gross. It was also all over the front porch. The property was not dog friendly but apparently the owners have dogs. My husband and son are allergic to dogs and were sneezing and itching. We had to put sheets on the couch in order to use it. For the price of the place I expected more.

This cabin is amazing! It is ideally located right in between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The layout is fantastic for families. We had teenagers who took over the bottom floor, and the layout served them well. The theater room ended up being their hub. Everyone loved the HUGE tv in that room. The owners have thoughtfully added so many extras. From the PacMan and SuperNintendo games to the hot tub, board games, fireplace and everything in between. There really is something for everyone. We’ve rented many cabins over the years. This is by far at the top of anything we’ve rented. We can’t wait for the opportunity to visit the area and rent it again!
