    Very comfortable

Local property manager very helful, cabin comfortable. Especially liked the fact there was a thermostat in every room, so I could have the bathroom warm and the bedroom cold

Perfect rental for our family of 6. The kids loved having the upstairs loft. Plenty of towels, linens and kitchen supplies. We enjoyed touring the original Maltese Cabin and then being sooo grateful for the modern conveniences of this replica.

Kimm, we're glad you enjoyed the location and adorable property! However, we're sorry to hear that your stay fell short of your expectations. We strategically and competitively base our prices on a variety of factors, but we're sorry you felt it was not fitting to the property. We always welcome feedback since we are regularly reviewing the rate. Cleanliness is one of our top priorities, and we take this concern very seriously. If you would like to specify any issues you had during your stay, please feel free to reach out to us! Best, the Evolve Team

    Not clean!

    Reviewed by: Kristen H. on

Found dirty panty liner in bedroom garbage. Towels were old and probably not washed in quite some time given the Febreeze sitting next to them. Dirty dog bed under master bed, including dog food in trunk next to bed. Night side table had loose used toothbrush, toothpaste and 1 flosser just laying in the drawer. Disgusting. All decor was dirty/dusty. Paper towel had maybe 2 turns left on it, no replacement provided. Kitchen garbage was disgustingly dirty once we took out our garbage, then we could see it. I did not contact the property manager since we had already unloaded all our belongings and didn't want anyone coming in during our stay to properly clean. I'd never recommend this place. I was so excited about this being a replica of Teddy Roosevelt's cabin and expected a rustic cabin but I did not expect it to be dirty and gross! The fact that I paid so much per night blows my mind. Terribly overpriced for what we got!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Maltese Ranch cabin in Medora. The cabin made you feel like you were back in Teddy Roosevelt's time. Even though we didn't need to use them, the host provided many amenities, like coffee, shampoo, spices, plastic wrap, etc. The cabin was within walking distance of town which was very nice. We arrived early and texted the owner to see if we could get in early and he replied promptly that we could, which was great. The only potential drawback I see is the steep ladder to the loft. I think it would be super fun for grade school aged kids, but might be a little rough if traveling with very young children.
