'Mattie's House' is located in a safe rural area on a huge piece of land, complete with amazing sculptures around the property sculpted by the homeowner! The house is less than 1 mile south of downtown Loveland. Spend an afternoon strolling through the shopping district and perusing adorable local shops, galleries, and boutiques. Check out the ever-changing events and activities occurring during Night on the Town, held the second Friday of each month. Grab a beer and bite to eat at any of the city's many breweries, such as Verboten Brewing & Barrel Project or Loveland Aleworks.
Make a day trip to Boulder, just over 30 miles away, or head north for under 15 miles to check out Fort Collins! You'll definitely want to spend some time in the Mile High City, with downtown Denver about a 1-hour drive from the house.
Outdoor recreation abounds in Colorado. Make your way to the Rockies and enjoy world-class skiing, hiking, fishing, mountain biking, lake activities, and more. Rocky Mountain National Park is also just 1 hour away!

Eclectic Exuberance!

Not impressed
3/5 First of all, lets just say it was very very hot! Air conditioner did not work at all and we called to let owner know and we were told that they would send someone out to look at it and that never happened during our stay at all. We spend 2 days in 100 degree weather miserable. Secondly when we arrived there were dirty dishes in dishwasher. The lising indicated that there is a little house in the back that one other person could sleep, no heating or air conditioning and bugs everywhere. I would let my dog sleep in there. We would not rent this again, if the airconditioning problem had been dealth with it may have made the other things bearable.

5/5 Beautiful, kitschy, clean home within a fenced, private yard close to everything you want to do in Loveland, CO. Owner has retained the integrity of the original, old home yet modernized it so that it is efficient and comfortable. A fantastic stay. Suggestion: Outdoor garbage can. It might have just been misplaced but I couldn't find it. :)
