  We totally enjoyed our trip - the cabin is amazing. Will definitely be back. The host was extremely helpful with directions as we were driving at night in the pouring rain and she provided step by step directions. The cabin was all set for comfort and we felt so welcomed

• Isolation and Splendor

  Turning off the main road on to an unassuming gravel road it would be easy to think you had taken a wrong turn but you would be wrong. This small cabin in the woods is perfectly situated for isolation and a chance to get away from the world without actually leaving. The cabin is comfortable and perfect for the chance to unwind. That being said, the place still has all the comforts of home and makes for a great stay. The host have set up a great situation and made it very easy for us to check in and out. The local area is great to explore and we took advantage of it going deep into the national forrest during each day's stay knowing that we had the perfect place to return to and leave the hustle and bustle of the world behind.

• Quiet, Cozy Retreat

  This cabin is an absolute gem. It offered a serene and peaceful environment, tucked away in a secluded location. The cabin itself was incredibly cozy and comfortable, providing a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Not only was it clean, but it also had all the amenities needed for a truly enjoyable stay. Highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking to unwind and recharge in a tranquil setting.

  This is not a bad review.

  Great location.

  The driveway to and especially getting up the actual drive to the place needs serious attention.

  Didn’t just happen from rain-Was that way months ago.

  Showed up with an unmade bed and towels in the shower.

  Stayed but then took my Mom to St Simons.

  For a Nice Stay.

  Woke up to pulp wood being cut 10 feet away?

  St Simons is Great This Time of Year !!!!

  Cain, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  -We are aware that the road to the cabin needed to be fixed and we have had gravel delivered to repair. However, we were having some of the lumber thinned through the acreage and were waiting on that to be completed before we moved all of the gravel to the different locations that needed repair work. We hope to have the driveway and roads leading to the cabin repaired this week as the lumber thinning was completed last week
  -We experienced a miscommunication with our cleaning team and as soon as we realized that we had not heard from my cleaning company that the cabin was ready for check-in, we reached out to you to inform you of the mishap. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience as cleanliness and sanitization are our top priority
  We are glad you enjoyed the location and appreciate you letting us know of your concerns. We are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!
