    Friends Weekend

Pluses and minuses on this vacation property, but overall we enjoyed our stay. We utilized the grill and firepit on the spacious patio and appreciated the outdoor heater. The loft bedroom doesn't have a door, which seemed odd. Additionally, none of the windows have coverings or blinds, which was slightly uncomfortable. Short trip into TC and the casino. Had some unexpected visitors that was concerning enough for us to call and have the sheriff's office visit. Beautiful house and surroundings. Mixed experience overall.

Beautiful, quiet, wooded log home setting

This log cabin is pretty much like the pictures show it to be. It's beautifully built and lots of perks. Ben is super friendly and was very quick to respond to any questions or needs. The picture online did make the house look a little more spacious than it was, but it was very comfortable for our party of 8. We were a little surprised that there were no doors on the master suite and none on the one downstairs bedroom. We had a toddler, so we had to be pretty quiet when she first went down for the night, or naps. And the doors that were on the downstairs bedrooms didn't close.

This spot was a secluded gem about 20 minutes away from downtown Traverse City. It was great to have our privacy, but still be able to make it to and from the city when needed. It was much bigger than it looked in photos, and spacious enough to fit 14 people comfortably. I was VERY worried about there being no AC, but there wasn't any issues. The tree's provide enough shade and it got cool enough at night to where it was a little chilly. Such a great experience!

Great house in a great location on a beautiful piece of property. House was perfect for our family. Had a little trouble locating the house but Ben's directions were very helpful. Ben was great about replying very quickly to my questions. Would definitely stay there again.

Communication was great with Ben. The property and home was very nice. It was more isolated than I thought. Deep down a dirt road. The hot tub was not clean, hence not usable. Not having cable tv was a bit disappointing. Would recommend having a toaster. The water heater was constantly running in my bedroom which took a bit to get used to. Everything else was real good. The house was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The outdoor area was very nice. If you want a very quiet getaway , this is the place for you.

This was a great place to stay for our multi-generation family vacation. There was room enough for privacy and the kids loved bunking together. Yard was big enough to play and run while being surrounded by woods.

If you are looking for an amazing spot to get away from the city life but not too far away this is the house you are looking for. Surrounded by trees and only trees. This house is absolutely beautiful and easily fit 13, probably would fit a couple more! Extremely clean and owner is very easy to get a hold of you needed. I would rate 11 out of 10 and definitely stay here again!!

Wow, where do I start. Ben, the host was amazing! He was very accessible to reach and communicate with. I went up for my husbands 30th Birthday and Ben helped me plan an itinerary since I_̫m not from the area and add a special birthday touch to the home. It was very spacious and really clean. It also came equipped with a lot of household items that most don_̫t. We enjoyed the sweet sound of nature and the cool breeze of the wind at night. I would love to stay here if I ever was to travel to Traverse City in the future. The only negative would be the WiFi was very sketchy seeing your deep in the woods but our personal hotspot fixed that issue.
