Place to stay; just ok
3/5 The condo is basic, very basic. Definitely not fancy. Appliances are old. No a/c, which is ok, except--windows have to be open for any air circulation and the complex is noisy--can hear everyone at pool, above or below the unit, traffic and when we were there, construction. Advantages: very short walk to the ocean; close parking; 5-10 min to downtown Hilo.

5/5 It was very nice but be aware that there is no air conditioning. That worked fine for us but some people might not like it. The location is beautiful and very peaceful.

5/5 The proximity to Carlsmith beach park is great. Good value for the money. If you don’t have to be on the Kona side Hilo is great.
Going Back Home
4/5 We loved the location of the property and the condo itself. It was great for my brother, sister-in-law and myself. The unit doesn’t have ac and with warm temperatures and high humidity during the time we stayed we were a bit warm. The unit has fans that helped a lot. The unit’s parking lot is in a great location. We loved the condo and would stay again on our next trip. I and my brother were born and raised in Hilo and were back to visit family and friends.
