Best stay ever! The home is beautifully updated from top to bottom. The beds are super comfortable and our 14 year old son said that the hide-a-bed was the best one that he has ever slept in. We chose this location to be close to the entrance of Mesa Verde and it did not disappoint. The home is with in walking distance of the Main Street of Cortez and a farmers market on the weekend. Our host has this home stocked with salt and pepper, olive oil, coffee, sugar, wine opener and any pots, pans or dishes that you would need to cook or grill a meal. The grocery stores are close. The fresh floating flowers were a nice touch. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property!

Everything was great. The house was recently remodeled and felt brand new. It was a quiet neighborhood and you could walk to downtown. Mesa Verde National Park, which was great, was a short drive.

This space is awesome! My wife and I stayed for one full week, using the cottage as our base of operations to explore Mesa Verde National Park, Hovenweep, Canyons of the Ancients, Durango, Mancos, etc. We spent three days in the National Park, which is about five minutes down the street. Also explored the surrounding area. If you’re flying in, we came from the Durango-La Plata County airport, which was about a one hour drive from the Tea Rose Cottage. The cottage was sparkling clean when we arrived and EXACTLY as pictured and described in the listing. The WiFi was reliable, and we made use of the Roku television to watch Netflix in the evenings (while recovering from hikes). A second television is available in the bedroom. The entire cottage is climate controlled, the air conditioning kept us more than comfortable. There’s one bathroom with a shower stall and bathtub, great for relaxing. Spacious and clean. Our host was extremely quick and responsive to our emails, we had no problem entering the home. There were also many homey touches and lots of amenities... such as laundry detergent, spot remover, coffee with coffee maker, and a number of others. Also, a nice collection of local restaurant menus and suggestions. Located on quiet residential side street, within walking distance of a free public parking lot and the main thoroughfare with various shops and restaurants. We visited many local shops and the cultural heritage center in town. Get ice cream from Moose and More! Lovely backyard space, which was mowed and maintained during our stay. Would gladly stay again! We don’t have a single complaint!
