The photos made it seem like the cabin was totally secluded. It actually is in a neighborhood-like setting where there are other cabins, but the area is so quiet and peaceful you forget about that. Aside from that, the experience we had at the cabin was lovely. It was very cozy and welcoming.

    Stifling hot when arrived

The cabin was really cute I recognized it right away from the pictures. But as soon as we walked in it was like an oven. And when we walked upstairs to the bedroom area it was uninhabitable! So hot I couldn?t let my Mother or daughter go up there until way after sunset. No air conditioning was on it took at least 4 hours to cool down enough to sleep. I highly suggest including a regulated temperature depending on the weather for your guests maybe include that with the 100.00 cleaning fee.

    Great stay!

Great cozy cabin-perfect space for our small family. Kind of close neighbors and busy/noisy cabin community- lots of construction trucks and evening ATVs, but other than that, a great location. Beds and living room are comfy, decor is cute and tasteful, loft is fully enclosed second story (we weren?t sure about this from the listing, but it was perfect for putting the little guy to bed then hanging out downstairs). The listing says a bonus twin bed on the ?stairs landing,? which is not accurate- but we finally found it in a cute little ?secret? cubby on the main floor. A few shortages were just very minor inconveniences- just feedback to the owner: could have used more kitchen towels, washcloths (only 2?), a liquid measuring cup, a vegetable peeler, pepper, and maybe a couple plastic or metal plates (kid/outdoor friendly). Other than that, it was totally perfect!! No mosquitos in late May (yet!!!). Also, the email we got said not to use the washing machine, which was inconsistent with the listing and thankfully, the instructions at the house (critical amenity traveling with a 3-yo boy!!).

This cabin is well laid out and clearly cared for. The interior is clean and comfortable. The exterior needs some repairs and a cleaner deck/yard area would be nice, but you can’t beat the location and proximity to trails and the river. No shortage of things to explore in the area.

This cabin was perfect for a weekend ski trip. The main floor was a great, functional living space that worked perfectly for our group of 4 and the upstairs was a bunk room that had enough beds for our group. The bathroom looks like it's been remodeled in the last 5 or so years and was very clean. For those bringing cars, be aware that the parking is a bit tight. That may have been due to the snow, but just keep in mind you're sharing a set of 3 parking spots with the adjacent house so it's a bit tight. That said, we also happened to be there right after a major storm so it could have just been because of the snow piles.

Little Bear Cabin was perfect for a quiet get away. It has a great cozy feel as soon as you walk in, very clean and helpful tips labeled throughout the house. Linens are provided for shower . The kitchen provides everyday items you would typically use on a day to day basis including an amazing unique tea and coffee bar. Services such as WiFi and direct tv are provided. It was easy access to the river in the community. We loved the local restaurant and enjoyed a good meal. Next door we rented gear for cross country ski and it was a short drive to Leavenworth. Its definitely a perfect spot to unwind!

We could have spent the majority of our trip just relaxing and hanging out at the cabin but there was sooo much to explore in the area. The river was down the street and the surrounding area was perfect for walking our dog. For a pet-friendly place this was ideal and convenient and we will surely back.

At the end of each day we were excited to come back to Plain. We couldn't believe how perfect the location was and the coffee shop inside the hardware store was great and down the street! We hope to be back to the cabin soon for snowmobiling!

We had a great time on our trip. This is a classic cabin in the woods, well stocked, very comfortable. We spent a couple days skiing at Stevens and a day just hanging out at the cabin playing board games or playing out I the snow. I think the kids' favorite part of the trip was the day we didn't leave the cabin! Check in and check out process was simple and easy, instructions were easy to follow. Manager's Response:
Hi Noel, We were sorry to hear that your stay got off to such a rocky start! We understand how frustrating access issues are, and we apologize that your local guest contact was not responsive during your check-in. We have since updated our check-in instructions so that guests do not have to reach out to the local contact for the keyless entry code. We have also shared your experience with the local contact so that they can be more available for our upcoming guests. The homeowner hopes that the complimentary gift basket waiting in the cabin made up for some of the inconvenience, and they would love to welcome you back as their guest the next time you're in Leavenworth!
