...and a raccoon, 3 groundhogs, rabbit, 3 deer, bats, squirrels and chipmunks. This location was better than any of the official wildlife viewing areas. Relaxing and beautiful. The kids say to add that the wifi was good, too.

Relaxed in the hot tub and by the fire . Woke from the top loft with breathtaking views ! We didn?t see any elk, but plan to be back ! This place has all the amenities and beautifully maintained ! Thank you for sharing!

We have been staying at Elk Terrace, since it was constructed about 15 years ago. We noticed the additional beds, large couch and 2 new HVAC units.

It was the usual enjoyable stay, we will be back next year.

We had a fabulous time- the cabin is beautiful and comfortable. We liked that the seating in the living room was large enough to seat all six of us comfortably around the fireplace. As it was 6 degrees the night we checked in, having the hot tub so conveniently located allowed us crazy "kids" to get in. It was fabulous!!! (Even though some thought we had lost our minds). We had a lot of laughs, quiet time and quality friendship sharing time and made many new memories. The elk were amazing- we saw so many. The only issue we had was that at 4 am our last night, the power went out, which meant no heat and no water because of the well. Thank goodness it had warmed up considerably from our first night. But we even had laughs and fun memories made of that. We would definitely recommend the cabin for anyone else and would definitely consider it for a return visit. Thank you for allowing us our time there.

What a beautiful place. Private and completely peaceful. The beds are comfortable and everything was tidy and clean when we arrived. It snowed during our stay which was enjoyable to watch while relaxing in the hot tub. I?m sure we will visit again.

I took a group of eight of my closest friends up to this cabin for a little birthday weekend getaway under the stars, and my group had a wonderful time that we wont forget anytime soon! This place is perfect for anyone who wants to take a step away from the city and into the quiet serenity of the Pennsylvania Wilds. While I'm a more outdoorsy adventurer myself, some of my guests were not, and this cabin allowed us to be immersed in nature while enjoying a fair amount of warmth, luxury, and comfort. The space was beautiful, well-stocked, and had plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen was modern and had plenty of room for the entire crew to help out with cooking, the bedrooms were comfortable and clean, the couch and chairs in the living area were dangerously plush and perfect for lounging in front of the fire, and the outdoor spaces were amazing for stargazing (the hot tub was a group favorite) or enjoying your morning coffee. I have been asked by several of my guests if we can make this a yearly adventure since they enjoyed their stay so much, and quite frankly we might just have to!
