Awesome place to relax and take in the environment
5/5 The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Plenty of room to stretch out and relax. The view was wonderful. Saw plenty of wildlife both to/from the apartment and in the yard early mornings. The hosts were very sweet and helpful. I strongly recommend this place to anyone traveling to the Black Hills!

All the comforts of home in a quiet setting.
5/5 Very quiet stay in the lower level of the home. Love the cowboy theme with all the comforts of home. Great amenities. There is not a stove but has hotplate, microwave, convection oven and grill. Hostesses were very responsive. Would stay again.
Great location, but disappointing accommodations
3/5 The good: the location was great! Close to Mt Rushmore and only about 25 minutes from Rapid City and the airport. This apartment is definitely a good ‘home base’. The towels were awesome! The bad: the communication with the owners was not great. I guess there were some health issues, but I would have expected to be given a different number to communicate with if there were issues. A hot tub is listed as an amenity, but it was dirty and totally unacceptable (yes, I did reach out to the homeowner first before posting this). The temperature is controlled by the owners who live upstairs in the house. The apartment is a converted walk out basement. The only door was a slider that had ripped screens, so if you wanted to get fresh air in the apartment, you also got flies. Overall, we didn’t feel comfortable and didn’t really use any of the other outdoor amenities, just from the lack of communication/friendliness of the owners.
